I'm excited about basketball again! I hope it lasts this time.
I know I'm not supposed to over hype the hire or George will get upset. But, I'll say this - our last two hires I was also excited and optimistic. However, I was just excited about Grant's record at VCU and Avery's potential. With Oats, I'm actually excited about his coaching philosophy and (apparent) work ethic. He may do worse than the previous hires, but I feel like I actually have something to base my optimism on this time.
I know I'm not supposed to over hype the hire or George will get upset. But, I'll say this - our last two hires I was also excited and optimistic.
