The same reason Steph Curry didn't have a lot of offers: he is not very athletic, not a pure point guard, not long and his defense needs lots of work. He can, however, light it up and has good handles. Rankings and offers seem to have more to do with the freakish athleticism and raw skill set than with shooters and fundamentally sound guys.

Braxton Key is in the Elite 8. Good for him, He saw the ship was sinking with Avery and Got TF out. Smart kid.

This is a terrible narrative people are putting in the air. Even Avery said something similar and its not true. Non basketball people may have had interest but Grant had sone good teams as well. Loved to see Tony Mitchell dunk it.

May be an overreaction but I think we got something special in Coach Oates. Only other hire Ive felt this good about was Saban.
