Not too shabby for an overrated coach.

And only 1 championship

Newsflash..he cheats too

How many times has he played a team even close to UK in talent, in pursuit of those 8 sweet 16's?

They’re tough to win in the modern NCAA Tournament.
He consistently makes runs for it. That’s all you can ask.

That's fricking impressive. I don't think he's overrated at all. I compare him to Mainieri all the time in their current jobs. Winning national championships is very difficult especially these days with the parity. It takes some luck combined with talent, coaching and health. I think he's an outstanding coach.

Just pointing out my coach’s impressive run.
Does that trigger you right now?

How many would he have if guys like Townes stayed 3 or 4 years?

If talent alone won games, Kansas would have more championships too.

LOL, remember the 1 seed Shocker team during the round of 32?

He’ll be the first coach to have Final Fours vacated at 3 different programs

Nice to see a coach wining the right way...(without getting caught). Great run though

And I'm glad they don't, would be even more insufferable than they already are.

Better question
How many times has UK played a more talented team in the NCAA tourney, since he has been there?
Calipari is the Les Miles of college basketball

shite. That whole bracket was maybe the toughest NCAA bracket anyone has seen between them, us (as an 8 seed), Louisville, Michigan, Duke (who lost to Mercer), and even Tennessee.

A handful? And? How many times has other coaches dropped first round/second round games with top rated talent?
Your point is moot when a tournament format determines a champion. It’s as much about preparation and getting hot at the right time. But Calipari is consistently in the conversation. More so than a lot of his peers.

I used to be in the "Cal is overrated" crowd, but with how much turnover he deals with and how much he gets his young teams to improve over time, he does a great job.

thank you, no further questions.

Izzo gets the same kind of shite for losing early season matchups. Yet they’re consistently tournament ready.
My guess it’s the same crowd.
