I'm hearing Dazon Ingram is taking his eligibility elsewhere and transferring.

good for him. I wont miss him as a player but he seems like a great guy. He improved little and had a low percentage outside shot. Also shot under 70% at FT line.

Outside of Lewis, there's not a player on the roster that Alabama really can't afford to lose.

Actually was our best 3 point shooter % wise.. at 45.5% which is pretty good.

He also shot 71% from the Free throw line.

Yeah,

I bet John Petty wished he had signed with Kentucky or Kansas..(he had an offer from both).

As far as developing as a player.. none of them have developed under the coaching of Avery Johnson.

If Kira is smart, he will get out too. His game slowly began to diminish as the season went.

Hebert Jones was worse, Reese was about the same as last year.

But at least Avery Jr got his minutes.. heck, he even managed to make about 5 out of 30 3 pt shots....and he dribbled a lot..dont forget his dribbling prowess

If Avery Jr graduates, & Dazon leaves, that’s 2 of my 3 most hated Alabama athletes of all-time gone. Now I’ll just keep my fingers crossed Herbert leaves. Jesus Christ Herb was a clown this year.

Then whoever replaces them can be "coached up" by that guru of player development... Mickey Mouse..I mean Avery Johnson Sr and John (coattails of Billy Donovan) Phelphrey

I'm not going to judge anyone who "learned" under Avery. I think every guy on the roster (except Jr) would have been at least serviceable under a real coach.

But he always seemed to miss important ones. Especially front ends. Hope he finds success elsewhere...... but I won't miss his inability to dribble, especially in traffic.

As players go, here is my PERFECT off-season scenario....

Graduate Hall, Riley, Lawson, Avery Jr.

I’d like for Dazon, Herb, Reese, Galin to transfer..

And roll with these 11 next season...

1. Kira Lewis
2. Tevin Mack
3. John Petty
4. Daniel Giddens (I actually don’t hate this guy)
5. Javian Fleming (comeback from injury)
6. Diante Wood (comeback from injury)
7. Add Juwan Gary
8. Add Jaylen Forbes
9. Add Jaden Shackelford
10. Add Trendon Watford or a transfer SF
11. Add transfer big man that’s better than Galin & Reese, which shouldn’t be hard to find

We need a true center that can shoot, block shots and hit free throws

I'm sure kids are going to line up to play for Avery...lol

With good coaching, the players we currently have are a tournament team.

The only reason we were on the bubble is because of quality wins..

Its losing to teams like Arkansas, Tex A&M , blown leads to Auburn on our floor, losing to Ga State after leading by 22.. etc etc etc.

College basketball is a coaches game..

Donte Hall said it all when he talked about the teams "lack of effort" at times. That's on Avery ..

But at least he got to coach his son. Who is a horrible basketball player btw

Cool looks like a shitty 18-15 season with multiple awful losses as well as 6-7 games where we don't show up and play asleep.

Cool fvckin beans

Most NBA centers aren't good at all three of those. Everybody wants a true 5 star center but lots of programs play winning ball without one. Give me a good coach over a great center.

Yes he was. I think we would all love to have a Pat Ewing on the court.
