Mississippi State @ Florida is going to be an awesome series to watch. Excited to see how all the pre SEC ball hype plays out! Goodluck to everyone this weekend, except Ole Miss.

Saw today that UGA is the only team to be top ten in both WHIP and OPS (#5 in both).
Was surprised to see we are the highest ranked SEC team in OPS (behind us are Vandy at 7, Tennessee at 11, and Carolina at 14). Knew we were hitting well top to bottom but not league-leading well.
Also, SEC is dominating baseball with pitching. 7 of the top 12 in WHIP

State has started out slow offensively and I'm not sure if it's just a funk or a whole lot of impatient at bats. It seems like the new philosophy under Lemonis is to attack early in the count, and our guys are chasing a lot.
