depleted

We arent depleted anywhere

We have been thinner at interior linemen the past 2 recruiting classes. With losses of Kindley and Mays, those positions are worth paying attention to. Remember, we got down to 3rd string options at all interior line spots in 2019 and we played with a 4th string RG in the SECCG and Sugar Bowl from the 2018 season.

Losing 3 top TEs (and 1 grad transfer from Tennessee) the past 2 seasons, we are thin at TE and again reliant on a grad transfer to step up in the room.

I'm stuck at work, I may have to finish later. We have some question marks (like every team)

Thin huh. We got Goede, Fitzpatrick, Washington, and grad transfer Tre Mckitty. Thats solid as frick. With the exception of Tre McKitty we got all our TE's for the next 3 years.

I had said for a while (since before 2019 season) that 2020 was UF's best chance to snag a win in Jax... That doesn't mean I think they do it, just that the likelihood of our on field team having some pretty significant holes to fill might give them a chance.
LT/RT replaced (expected)
Starting QB replaced (assumed would be the case)
LG replaced (somewhat of a surprise)
#1/#2 RBs replaced (expected)
#1 TE replaced again (known)

Buuuut... Once all known attrition has been tallied up for Gators, not sure they're in a significantly better place:
#1 RB replaced - if Lingard doesn't get a waiver, pretty lackluster committee there?
#1/#2 WR replaced - Grimes is good, Toney and Copeland are at least decent, but their second best receiver likely is their TE...
OL returns, but was pretty bad to begin with, so will be interesting to see if that's a good thing
DL - they add Brenton Cox but lose Greenard and Zuniga, easily their most productive/disruptive players in 19... not sure that's a good trade. They lost ~1/2 of their DT production in Shuler... though Campbell was probably the better half of that rotation. Still have to replace a lot of snaps with less known entities.
LB - Replacing Reese should be interesting. Easily the best LB they had. They look thin here in general
CB - they'll be solid here between Elam and Wilson
S/NB - they'll return safeties that had some questions already... but at nickel, they may have problems... looks like the primary option is moving Burney back to DB after a short stint at LB... if that's the case, he's probably a liability more often than they'd like.

All in all, they've got as many if not more questions on defense than we have on offense by my read from a personnel standpoint. Biggest question for us is going to be what Monken is able to do and how well can Newman perform... there's a lot riding on the shoulders of those 2 in 2020.

With improvement in the best D in the nation last year, the offense only has to be moderately improved to win. Add to that the fact that Bama and LSU lost All American QBs, and the Tigers faced a mass exodus of key players I think the Dawgs have as good a chance as ever to win the SEC.
