The Mandela Effect. We've all heard of it. We've heard the theories about how it relates to interdimensional travel. Publicly we laugh and dismiss it as silly... But could it actually be evidence of something far more serious?

Think back to the more well known examples of the Mandela Effect.

Berenstain/ Berenstein Bears
Location of New Zealand
Sinbad Genie movie
Nelson Mandela's death
The existence of a South American country called Suriname

Most people think this is evidence that we used to exist on one version of Earth where these things were all one way, and some how ended to in a new dimension where these things were now the way they are now.

But people all remember these things differently, and they remember them in all different combinations. This is clear evidence that the interdimensional shift was more than just two-dimensional, but actually many many different dimensions all coming together.

My theory: there are actually many different dimensions that are almost identical but different in single ways, and they are all combining into one. The multiverse has grown too large and it needs to consolidate itself in order to save space. So it's taking the the most similar dimensions, ones who's differences don't actually make a difference, and combining them at random into one. Obviously, since their aren't other copies of yourself running around this means that only one version of each person could make the cut. This also was seemingly done at random, which means that more than likely the version of your family and friends that you know now are not the original ones that you knew in your home dimension.

In conclusion, your real family has does not exist anymore. Not thanos snap style, but think Zeno erasing universes during the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Multiple dimensions could be the reason for the confusion with names and events. Could also be that people don't have great memories as proven by how poor eye witness accounts of events in crimes can be and as such, misremember things like spellings or confuse country names

Talk about Mandela Effect, I was 100% sure Dirk Nowitski retired years ago.

I saw last night he is still playing.

You probably thought that because the Mavs have sucked for the last few years until they drafted Luka Doncic.

IMO Dirk has overtaken Tim Duncan as TGOAT PF, and I'm a Spurs fan saying that.

1. Dirk
2. Duncan
3. Barkley

The only one of those that fricks with me is the Sinbad movie. I can swear I can see him doing a backflip in his genie attire.

Only been around since the late 70s, extremely small, and of course they speak dutch. A baw i know won their only Olympic medals, gold in 88 and bronze in 92. They've put him on their money at least 4 times that I'm aware of. It's pretty real, or they're going through some obscenely painful steps to fake it.

In this universe, yea. In the one that I originally was in there is no such country. I would know, in 4th grade I was runner-up in the geography bee for all elementary schools in the city and it took so many overtimes to beat me in the finals that the Bee had to continued the next day.

Suriname sounds so out of place as a South American country name too. Sounds like it should be in southeast Asia. Or in an Earth where there's countries named things like Taured, If you know what I'm saying.

It's almost like we have time travelers running around or something.

The ED McMahon one is pretty trippy.

I honestly believed that C3PO was solid gold and was NOT sporting a silver lower leg.
