Makes sense cause after Burrow leaves, Brennen and the guys they committed aren't the answer.

I don’t buy it personally.. but we will see. I find it very hard to believe any team wouldn’t go after Bryce Young. Infact I would find it plain stupid. Remember those same insiders said Gilbert was Bama too. This recruiting year is alittle different than most.. and seems these kids like to troll the 40 year old insiders asking, and the moms play along. It all for likes and clicks on their page. Make a name for yourself and shock the world.

I can’t even describe the drastic change I have seen in the last two years of kids personalities that I coach.. The younger ones coming in are a different breed. It’s all about social media and getting attention. Even if it’s not the best thing for you. It really is crazy watching this generation.. the ones behind them are hard nose workers. The 5th grade and below school kids are tough as nails and want to earn things.

I have a buddy whose wife is an 8th grade teacher in San Antonio. The first week of school she gave all of her students a questionnaire to help get to know them better.

She asked what they wanted to be when they grew up. Out of 220 kids, 80 said they wanted to be a Youtube star.

Five on flip watch (Dawgs247 | RB segments)
quote:

Don Chaney Jr.

The four-star Miami RB commit has plenty of schools trying to flip him from the Hurricanes including Georgia. Running Back coach Dell McGee attended one of Chaney's games earlier this fall. It will be hard at this point because despite the on the field struggles from Miami, he has maintained he is sticking with the Hurricanes.

Marshawn Lloyd

The South Carolina RB commit is another one in the same boat as Chaney. The Gamecocks are struggling on the field and had a bad loss at Tennessee this past Saturday 41-21. Georgia is a school that recruited Lloyd hard and he was a big time target for the Bulldogs staff. Like Chaney has maintained that he intends to stick to his commitment, but teams will not quit recruiting him most likely until that letter is signed in mid-December.

Jahmyr Gibbs

The Georgia Tech RB commit has had a monster season at Dalton. Ohio State, Florida and now Alabama have all recently offered the four-star fast rising RB prospect. Gibbs was also chosen as an All-American bowl player after his senior tape was released. He has made multiple visits to Georgia this season and I am told a UGA offer would change some things quickly for him. The recent Alabama offer is the one to watch right now.

Haha.. it’s bad man. I never thought I would have to ban cell phones for practice on a football field or sidelines of a game. Do they think they are going to go live as they run down the field..lol I had one ask me if they could use a iPad in the huddle to show the play..

LSU (Joe Brady) is pressing hard for this guy:

It might not be an OC job because he is relatively inexperienced but the NFL is going to be calling for Joe Brady after he transformed LSU's offense and Burrow. I know they already had the weapons but it is still damn impressive. With the leagues fascination with young offensive minds and college coaches he will be highly desirable. It will just come down to whether he wants to leave BR.

UGA is still a better program overall, but that offense. Oof. They are becoming what LSU was prior to this year. Lots of 5 stars, a solid defense, elite RBs, and an offensive scheme straight out of 1994.

I really did laugh at that comment. Trying to make sense of high school kids tweets is pretty exhausting and most of the time dosent mean anything. I will say I am a little nervous about the thought of LSU going after Bryce young with all the momentum they have

Imo, the most likely next step for Joe Brady is LSU OC.

I think this has to be the year for LSU after this its not happening. I do not give the credit to Brady for Burrow. I have never been a huge fan of Urban Meyer but he has always been able to recruit QBs that may not be the highest ranked but become one of the best in the class. He spent 3 years in that system learning at OSU. Because of that LSU is the beneficiary of the transfer. We will see what Brady can do when he actually has to fully develop a QB and not have one fall into his lap developed.

I think you have to give Brady some credit because he's really the only difference from last year to this. What you say about Burrow having that Ohio State experience was true last year as well and he didn't play nearly this well.

With that said, I think Burrow is a very talented guy who has very talented pieces around him and Brady has done a good job of putting him in position to succeed. I don't think it's crazy to expect a drop off next year either, though.

Can someone with a Rivals account summarize these two articles:

Rivals100 WR Kayshon Boutte recaps his Alabama official visit

QB Bryce Young continues to shine on biggest stage
_______________________________________________________

Boutte is a priority for both LSU and Bama.

Trip was great, parents loved it.

Highlight was his talk with Saban.

Plans to sign in Feb (50-50 LSU / Alabama).

Will visit for LSU game.

______________________________________________________

Talked mostly about the game this past Friday night against Uiagalelei's Bellflower.

Mater Dei basically let's him call the plays or gives him the "green light" to change plays.

Not much in this article other than this.
