If nothing else, it shows we should never self report anything.
If anyone else reports it, we should lawyer up and deny.

My only issue in all of this is there needs to be set punishments for infractions. It makes no sense to punish one school harshly while another gets a slap on the wrist for similar infractions.

Didn’t you have your sanctions reduced?

I'd bet the bowl ban will stay.
If anything they will throw out the recruiting penalties.
What the frick did this have to do with recruiting?

Honestly, we’ll probably lose miserably but there is a path for the bowl ban and scholarship refuctions to be thrown out.

Lifted limits on unofficial visits because it would’ve been insane but they left the bowl ban. We ended up after appeals having the same bowl ban punishment as Penn State. Only difference is they covered up a serial rapist for decades and we let a recruit sleep on a couch.
Good luck reasoning with these people.

Just heard if the appeal is in place, sanctions cannot be enforced.
So, drag the appeal out to 2027.

Good luck. The only successful appeal I can remember was Oklahoma during the Rhett Bomar scandal.

It really is a hilarious penalty given the crime lol. Illiterate players have made it through Auburn and Alabama since the beginning of time

Lol, if I’m not mistaken Morris Claiborne got a 4 on the Wonderlick. So include LSU in that comment.
Also, Ed Prather with a 5 and Chris Leak with an 8.
Mississippi State and Florida must be illiterate schools as well.
All school cheat in the classroom with these players. 50% of these guys are dumb as rocks and do 0% of their own work. There are a few smarties here and there, but I worked with a football program and they all cheat on their shite.
