If anyone shouldn't have made the 2017 playoffs, it was Clemson. You guys were a joke and completely outclassed. Oklahoma and Georgia were very competitive and belonged. Clemson was the weak link in that 4 team playoff.

Mulligan U

taking advantage of a mulligan is not a case for giving teams a mulligan.

conference play should have eliminated Alabama last year.

you didn't refute my point Ohio State won an extra game than Alabam and a conference title and was left out for a team that didn't even play for its conference title.

the topic of the thread is favoritism...nobody denies Alabama had a stacked team last year. lol

Ohio State got destroyed by unranked Iowa by 30 points. It's an automatic disqualifier. We've established this time and again.

Similar to this year, rinse/repeat. Try not losing to Purdue by 30 and we'll talk.

I am pretty sure that “the football thesaurus “ awarded them a national title way back when and they claim that on their media guide.

If your school went 11-1 in any particular year, I bet you could convince an editor to award you a natty. Then claim it on your media guide.

Shameless.

it would be if they had not also beat Wisconsin in an extra game.

there is no mention of blowout loss being a criteria for the playoff czars
