I was actually writing out my response but deleted it because it got long winded, but you said this so I'll just go ahead and post it.

I don't know if it's because I've gotten older or because I moved out of SC for 4.5 years (first to College Station and then to DC) but it just doesn't bother me as much. I find myself getting over the Gamecocks (win or lose) way quicker than I used to. Yeah, it sucks being so mediocre while Clemson does so well... but meh. Again, I think being in DC has a lot to do with it. College football is tier 5 on the most important sports here and no one team is dominant. We're all expats so we all may have our CFB team and talk about it briefly, but it's never a long term issue and no one I know talks about it on a daily basis and you sure as shite don't hear about it on the radio. At best, you hear about some Terps and maybe Hokie football. So anyway, it sucks but eh, I've got a lot of other crap to worry about.

I guess the reason why I didn't post the first time because I was typing that I realized I'm also the first guy in the line to denounce any of the "Well we're SC... we're just a 7-6 program for forever." I hate that attitude and that attitude is what has separated us from Clemson presently and historically despite them being the smaller school with fewer alum and less money. So for me to sit here and say "Eh, what are you gonna do?" is hypocritical

So basically, I want everyone in SC to put all in and do all the work?

As a complete aside, I love and am proud of being from SC - but I encourage you all to spread your wings a bit. There's just too much to see and do in this lifetime my brothers and sisters.

From what I understand (ie what rooster has always said and I feel like I've heard from other people before) is that's not the BOT but the boosters. We just have so many that just refuse to do what needs to be done (ie bend or break the NCAA rules to get the players needed) to win it all. Too many goody two shoes essentially.

This is a fricking bullshite. Only the FBI can save us now

Not necessarily true. There is a group of boosters who would pony up and have made it known to Muschamp. I think he’s all for it but there are others In administration and on the BoT who want to be squeaky clean. I won’t list names but a few of these said boosters have their names on the gates around the stadium or on athletic buildings in general.
