By this time in the calendar and new year, I have moved on from the CFB season. Champ game is just way too far past end of regular season with too big of a gap in between.
This thing needs some fixing.

Well, that's just like your opinion man.

Agreed, 1st round playoff games should happen sooner. I hate having the biggest game of the year on a Monday work night

Or at the least put the game on a Saturday....
This is the first “normal” work week in almost 2 weeks....and can’t get the routine started because of the game tonight...

You need to stop drinking Franzia and take it up a notch to Blackbox.

True but one that is shared by many I'm sure. Champ game just doesn't seem like the same season.

Agree. 10 game regular season. Championship weekend first of Dec. Expand the playoffs. Start a week before Christmas with the Championship game on NYD. Would be a great post season.

You’re an Ole Miss fan. You typically move on from the college football season by the start of November.

Half of College Football teams quit playing football over 45 days ago.

To be fair, you probably had moved on before September

Didn't your season end in November?

This is it here...The large gap between regular and post season kills the momentum of the CFB season.

Guys the isn't about Ole Miss...I am a CFB fan as well, and I may hardly watch the game tonight because it doesn't even seem like the same season. Hell the media has moved on to NFL playoffs as well..This game doesn't get much media pub, as it should. Just not a big deal.

That's because you're an Ole Miss fan and the latest Ole Miss has played CFB is January 9 - in the Birmingham Bowl versus Pittsburgh.
We all understand you moving on from CFB this time of year.

He has a point. I am getting baseball on my mind right now.

championship game should be moved to this past friday. Then you can have NFL playoffs on Saturday and Sunday. Works better from logistics for fans and television for home viewers.

Have semi finals early in bowl season, have bowls, then have finals on NYD, or day after if the Rose / Sugar won’t accommodate the schedule.

Auburn Fan - I'd feel the same way if Gus were my coach.
