I don't buy this sentiment. Georgia looked like they didn't want to be there today and played like it even though they have better athletes. They went from National Title aspirations to playing at the Sugar Bowl for absolutely nothing. Next season, they'll be ready to play at home vs a conference foe. A win vs. us gets them closer to Atlanta. They'll be ready mentally for us next year.

I can accept losing to Georgia and I'm actually expecting a loss. We're just not there yet. Give Jimbo at least one more recruiting cycle to stockpile the defense and get a consistent QB that doesn't go Heisman to moon-moon in the span of two plays.

Georgia got punched in the mouth from kickoff to final whistle. Physically dominated on LOS. This game wasn’t as close as the final score indicated. Texass pressure rattled the hell out of Fromm. He missed a few open receivers downfield by yards... not feet.

As for QBs... IMO texass beats UGA 7 times out of 10 with Fromm at QB. Without Ehlinger, texass cant beat UGA.

From a perception standpoint I most certainly agree.

Disagree.

Different season, different teams. Of course sip fans will crow if we lose, but it means nothing. Is their game with LSU in Austin this coming season a must win for them just because we beat them this last year? No. Transitive property doesn’t exist in college football, we’ve seen this many times.

Kirby will likely have them focused and chasing a championship again, so it’s not going to be an easy game. The team that Georgia trotted out there last night wasn’t motivated at all. Which is a bad look because they spent the last month complaining about missing the CFP and saying they deserved to be in when now it looks like they didn’t. Probably should have been Ohio state over Georgia and Oklahoma.

But Kirby “looked in their eyes” and could see they were ready. I’ll never root for Georgia in anything ever again.

Their history is littered with the type of losses we often associate with "aggying." Difference is they've broken through a couple of times at least.

Is Battered Bulldog Syndrome a thing?

I mean....both their recent SEC title games vs. Bama.....the national title game vs. Bama....the hail mary loss vs. Tennessee....last night vs. t.u....

Game probably has higher short term stakes for LSU given what we’re returning plus what they lose on D. Next year is a no excuses year for us.

It would be a huge recruiting W for them too though, while also keeping in mind we play in BR in 2020.

I have been wondering about the origin of this term. Does anyone know

It's also a must win because Jimbo went 0-2 in big games this year and cannot go 0-3 in big games next year. We can't go 0-5 against Bama, Clemson, and UGA. We need at least 1 W to keep the momentum going.

OG Moon Moon was due to collapses and QB transfers if I remember correctly. It was a meme that tRant targeted us with and some of the more creative posters ran with it. Funny month or so that was.

I hated that month. I spent like a week making all those clock gifs and then suddenly all anyone wanted related to A&M was a picture of a wolf.

frick Sumlin for that, I will never forgive him.
