Will LSU even field a team in the Fiesta bowl?

Another starter, Ed Alexander, a competent but mid-pack, projected late-round or UDfA NT has declared for the NFL and will not play in the bowl game.
LSUs entire starting secondary and half the front 7 on defense are not playing... and they lost their best OT, which given the state of the OL is serious. The LSU fan base has been repeatedly and obnoxiously chanting "bowl is meaningless game" and they all "should take the money and run." Well, LSU players have been taking that advice more than any other team the last few years, and now it is a stampede for the first available exit.
Damn, UCF might pull a Troy on the tigers. What a revolting development. C'mon LSU, have some pride...

That's just weird. Why would an NT, especially a projected late round/UDFA skip the game? It's not a particularly injury-prone position.

He's battled injuries his entire career at LSU, so I get skipping the bowl in those regards, but as of today I don't see how he gets drafted. I mean, I wish him the best of luck going forward, but this seems like a really desperate move. We've had multiple mid-round projected players declare early recently only to end up going undrafted, and I can only speculate at best he's got day three grades, so I really don't understand this move. At this rate O might have to suit up lol...
