2016 doesn't count because Orgeron was interim:
Sumlin - 20-6 (10-6 SEC)
Orgeron - 18-7 (11-5 SEC) pending bowl game
Neither finished higher than 3rd in the west after 2 seasons.

There’s a difference here you’re not seeing.
Sumlin preferred rum over bourbon.

I don’t think many believe Orgeron is the answer.

Your AD and top boosters do. That’s why he’s getting a raise and an extension.

No one is going to say they are competent. Orgeron was a failure of a hire, and still is a failure of a hire. Last weeks game did not change that or change my opinion in the slightest.
The administration is content with stability, even if that means continuously being 3rd, or even 4th best in the SEC

I believe that is the definition of accepting mediocrity. Hence why I made the other thread. That has to stink knowing you’re not even trying to fully compete. I’d rather try and finish dead last than sit on my hands and keep being okay to good.

Orgeron didn’t have Johnny football

So having the highest NFL talent per capita in the state isn’t enough?

So is this supposed to reveal that Rumlin is only very slightly less mediocre than Oregeron is?
Because I thought that was undoubtedly common knowledge to everyone.

The LSU administration is content with 8 - 9 wins and it will stay that way until the fans stop showing up.

The Aggies didn't have to play against the refs and the other team?

Nope. It was stolen from us. And everyone is happy because it's LSU that got screwed.

I think he is a better coach than what he is given credit for. He is managing the games pretty well. I know the fans were up set with the 3rd down call but if he had thrown the ball and it was incomplete the clock stops. H out the ball in Burrows hands who obviously had the hot hand that day. aTm just made the play. I really think he has done a good job.

Wrong. You made another LSU thread because it’s literally all you do. You have made 10 LSU threads in the past 6 days.
