Bama 2018 Season- Best Ever?

As much as I dislike Alabama, I believe the following is true:
1. This 2018 team is probably the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve been around a long time.
2. They are in the midst of the greatest college football dynasty in history.
3. They have the greatest head coach of all time.
4. Tua is a Heisman lock and may be on the verge of having the greatest individual season ever, by anyone.
Had to get that off my chest. Anyone disagree?

Yeah if they win out that would be a legit discussion I could care less about the Heisman. I’m sure aria feels differently but even if he doesn’t win it that in no way diminishes his ability or season.

Being an LSU fan makes this post even more worse. The hate runs deep over here against Bama. Quit praising them.

Best offense Bama's ever had, because of the QB play, but the defense isn't anywhere near the best.

Sorry dude, I have never “praised” Bama before. Hopefully never will again. But the truth is the truth. Hopefully things change real soon.

Hard to compare teams from different eras. Clearly the defense, while good, is not the best we have had. I do think this is the best WR group in Tide history. Whether Tua is the best QB may be borne out over the next few games.

I understand being pissed but you also have to look it it realistically. They are playing the best that I have ever seen a team play.

Difficult to compare across eras, but the 1995 Nebraska team was the most dominant I ever saw. This Bama team and the 2001 Miami team were more talented, but that Nebraska team ran the triple option with a devastating efficiency not seen before or since.
Remember, the Florida team that they beat by 40 in the Fiesta Bowl was undefeated and probably Spurriers best team ever. They DOMINATED the SEC that year and didn’t even look like they belonged on the same field as Nebraska.

They are the best this 48 year old has ever seen. I think the 2019 Georgia team might top this year’s Bama team though. We are going to be seasoned and ready to kick some arse.

But the point is the season as a team and I think since the O had joined the D in excellence, it has balanced off as the best season/team yet so far but of course it needs to be re-evaluated after the season plays out but yeah at this point, even though the D might have given a shade back, I think they are on track.

IMO, its among the greatest single-season teams of all-time to this point like 2001 Miami, 1995 Nebraska, 1972 USC, the mid-50s OU teams, etc

Need to actually finish out the season 15-0 first.
However, only one other team has been as dominant as 2018 Alabama through the first 12 games........ 1888 Yale.
