Finish in the bowl pecking order and final rankings?

I see several four-loss teams who can potentially lose next weekend.

Auburn @ Alabama
Texas A&M vs. LSU
Mississippi St. @ Ole Miss
South Carolina @ Clemson

I doubt Kentucky loses to Louisville, although Florida could fail @ Fla. State to finish 8-4.

Is there a shot at New Years Day bowl, especially if Georgia and Alabama make the Final Four?

I don't see GA and 'bama both making the final four. One of them will knock the other out.

So, no on a NYD bowl.

Mizzou could sneak into the Outback bowl over Miss St.

That's a NYD bowl I believe.

I think Mizzou will get the nod over other teams of the same or even slightly higher stature because of Lock. We have our own thoughts about Lock but I think Lock would draw more eyes than whoever is the QB at MSU.

this very well could happen, especially with a Missouri spanking

But, Ive heard that bowls will look into who travels better sometimes, as always, this could hurt mizzou.

And for that reason I think the Music City bowl in Nashville is the best option.

Texas Bowl or Music City Bowl

7-5 A&M and 8-4 Miss St. will get a better bowl because there fan base will travel better.

Texas Bowl will be tough because it will probably be OK ST or Iowa St

Mizzou was in Texas Bowl last year, won’t go there again.

Music City or 1 of the Florida bowls.

Seems like it would make more sense to let Miss St fans travel to Florida and have Mizzou travel to Memphis. How did Mizzou travel to Florida when they played Minnesota?
