‘18 Williams
11 games, 1326 yards, 6.11 ypc, 13 TD
‘17 Chubb
15 games, 1345 yards, 6.06 ypc, 15 TD
‘17 Guice
12 games, 1251 yards, 5.28 ypc, 11 TD
‘17 K Johnson
12 games, 1391 yards, 4.88 ypc, 18 TD
With 2 games to go he’s already had a superior season than the top 3 SEC backs of last year.

All 3 of the other backs were on better teams too.

I am very impressed with him.
He also runs with a Hell of an attitude.
Good stuff.

He is a "good" RB.
His yards per game (56.5) against 4 ranked teams drops him down to 13th in the SEC.
23 RB's in the SEC have a higher ypc avg. in that category.
Trayveon against 4 ranked teams:
Att-59
Yds-226
Avg-3.83 (24th in the SEC)
TD-1
Good little RB against soft teams though:
Northwestern St-
att- 20
yds- 240
avg- 12
TD- 3
Ole Miss-
att-31
yds- 228
avg- 7.35
TD- 1

Guice and Fournette had like 500 yards each time they played A&M so the same could be said for them.
They were good against bad defenses.

ust how good is Trayveon Williams?
He disappears in games that matter.
In 3 Aggy Losses
Clemson 17 att 31 yards 0TDs
Alabama 8 Att 31 yards 0TDs
MSU 10 Att 26 Yards 0TDs
That is 35 Carries 88 yards 2.5 yards/carry 0TDs
Great running backs make a difference in the big games.

Bama totally shut them down and they still had solid numbers against ranked teams.
You may want to do a little research before you post.

I don’t know why everyone posts that pimp cane gif against UCLA when aTm ends up losing that game when they were up big. Probably the most embarrassing game that season.

He’s good vs crappy teams. Completely ineffective vs halfway decent defenses

That's why it's so great.

And yet he’s still clearly than everyone else’s RB even though he’s faced 3 of the top run defenses in the nation. A&M’s opponents combined for 73 wins, 82 if you count LSU. More than anyone else.

Not great against State:
10 rushes for 28 yards in 2016
10 rushes for 32 yards in 2017
10 rushes for 26 yards in 2018

No, not great. But this season might be better than any other running back’s in Mississippi State’s history.
