Which Point Guard do you like the best? Obviously, Harper had the better team last year. This is Harper's 3rd year vs Waters 2nd year. Discuss.
Season Stats
Harper 15/ppg 4/rpg 7.3/ast 1/tpg 1/spg
Waters 13/ppg 2.3/rpg 6.3/ast 3.5/tpg 4/spg

Harper 12.4/ppg 2.3/Reb 4.4/ast 1.8/tpg 1.2/spg
Waters 15.6/ppg 3.2/Reb 6/ast 3.0/tpg 2.2/spg

Depends on what I need from my PG.

Harper had much more talent around him last year. Waters had next to nothing. I'll take Tremont

for their team, Harper. He is the best floor general possibly in the country right now.

I'm going to have to default to the SEC coaches on this one.
SEC coaches
Well I guess that solves it

Thread proves Auburn is not yet a basketball school because their fans clearly have no clue how to evaluate talent. Fact; if Tremont had Jared's height he would be in the NBA this year as a 19 yr old

I think they’re similar. Waters has more volume because were are fewer options on his team last year, but he’s also younger and had a more consistent freshman season than Harper. They’re both very good though.

Harper takes a few too many bad shots for my liking but he is probably the better defender.
I think Waters is the better player but I would rather have Harper for what Tennessee needs out of the PG spot which is primarily defense and ability to take care of the ball and make open jump shots.

I have never heard of Jared Harper so I'm gonna have to go with Tremont Waters. He could sell a hell of a lot more cars than some dude named Jared.

I Don't know who waters is, but the numbers are better than harpers

The answer to your question is really simple. Switch player and teams from last year. Do you think Harper improves LSU team from last year or do you think Waters, with a better supporting cast improves that team that much better?

Harper with the better stats this season
Waters with the better numbers for the career
Fair compromise?
