Agreed. He made plenty of mistakes around the fringes. But for the meat of the roster he did an ok job of surrounding Zion with talented players.

Brought in BI, CJ, Murray, Jonas. Drafted Herb, Trey, Missi, Jose (udfa).
If Zion reached even some of his potential we would’ve been a consistent playoff team at minimum.

This happens constantly in college basketball and it infuriates me. Completely ruins the flow of the game.

For whatever reason he decided to keep McMahon it puts LSU in a lame duck season and only delays the inevitable. There is little chance that McMahon turns this around. The overwhelming likelihood is that we’ll be starting from scratch next year at this time, a year later than we should have. The NIL stuff is great, but we’re only going up to the level everyone else has been. Still others are ahead. Most kids are going to choose to play at a school they’ve seen play in the tournament, where they have a reasonable belief they can play for a championship. That’s not LSU currently. The End

That coach was a douche for sure. If they started challenging us I’d obviously root for them to fail but they seem pretty harmless. I find myself pulling for Tulane and Tech sports more than ULL.

I think he’s good for most games but somewhat lacking in the big moments. His call on Tommy’s walk off against WF was rough.
