Murphy’s defense is embarrassing. Queen is so polished for a rookie.
Someone help me understand how Queen only has 8 minutes played. What are we doing?

I made a thread like this during Wemby's first year and many said they'd still take Zion over Cunningham and Banchero.
A portion of our fans have some serious Stockholm syndrome
ETA: I would take all of them, including Risacher, just to get the fatass off our team and let our young players grow without him taking up space and setting a horrible example.

The assistants must have absolutely hated Kelly

I don’t know many places you can write up a 100 million dollar contract, have it blow up before it’s half way done, and pay 50 million to get out of it without consequences.
You get out of it by being great at fundraising and making connections, which Woodward was clearly doing very well. People seem to leave that part out when critiquing him.

This is who Zion has always been. But if you tried to point it out people would just scream how efficient he is at scoring while ignoring the 15 other glaring weaknesses he has.

One of the more informative posts I’ve read here in some time. Thanks for sharing

What if I told you the Defense would be 5th in PPG?
I’d say that’s great! Again, context matters. Clemson, SC, UF are simply bad offenses. UF probably closer to average with the talent they have.
The overall point is that this is clearly not sustainable against the better half of our schedule coming up. I can be happy we’re 5-1 but also understand that it’s far more likely this is a repeat of last year than us going 10-2.
Doesn’t mean I’m less of a fan than the people who can’t remove their P&G glasses to analyze things.

We're sitting in a good place right now, but theres also no way you can watch the team and think this is what they hired Kelly to produce. This is not a team that makes a run in the playoffs.
This is basically where I’m at. If you watch other teams run their offense it makes LSU look like a JV squad. Baker and the defense are keeping us afloat but it’s just not sustainable without massive improvements from the O and I don’t think that’s realistic with Sloan and Nuss running the show.

LSU would be 5-1 and ranked in the Top 10 every single one of you would have taken it and you fricking know it.
If you told me we’d be 5-1 without context I would’ve been pretty happy. If you had then provided context such as:
- Clemson is actually dog shite this year
- UF and SC would be a combined 5-5 outside of their games against LSU
- Our offense won’t score more than 23 points against any P4 opponent OR La Tech and looks consistently rudderless each game
- Our schedule is way more backloaded than originally expected
Then I’d be pretty concerned.

If LSU loses Saturday it’s going to be a meltdown
There should be a meltdown  This is the second easiest SEC game left on our schedule after Arky. We lose this one and we’re boned. I think we win by 10 though.

USC at home -running QB better D than ole miss
SC is mediocre. Should beat them at home even without the offense humming. If we lose this one the season will get ugly quickly.

Vandy in Nashville- running QB much better D than Ole Miss
Will be a tough game, especially with Vandy coming off a bye. Probably a pick ‘em.

Texas Faggies at home- you know why
A&M is way more balanced than us offensively. Defense will have to be special for us to win this one + plus some TS voodoo

LSU has had one 10-win regular season since 2012 (2019).
Five seasons with 9 regular season wins (2013, 2017, 2018, 2022, 2023).
Six seasons with 8 or fewer (14-16, 20-21, 24)
God bless Joe Burrow and Joe Brady

If that’s not targeting then the rule needs to be completely scrapped. Too many players get thrown out of games for way less than that.

Couldn’t tell you the last time I’ve had any of the beers in that picture. Maybe a Stella in the last few months.
If you’re in south Louisiana you’ve got Abita, Parish, Gnarly, Nola brewing, St Arnold’s and tons more available just about anywhere you look.
Miller is the far superior light beer option to Mich Ultra or BL anyway.

I know this poll means nothing, but for them to jump Miami over us for beating the same team we beat the week prior is hilarious, and why I think BK should have tried to punch it in after the Durham 50 yard run. 27-10 looks better than 20-10 and style points could be the difference in November.
I’m perfectly fine with Miami jumping us. They physically dominated Florida. We won with turnovers. The former is more likely to be repeated than the latter.
