I went to ULM dipshit and hate those arse clowns. I finally have a something little to brag about. So let me.

Fair enough. Congrats on the win

The amount of space ULL takes up in some of y’alls heads is concerning

Just on a basic human level, that’s lame. He seems like a good dude. No reason to think he didn’t give us his best. He just wasn’t good enough. It happens. It’s not like he was a total dickhead like BK.

The part where we would somehow keep McMahon if we don’t get Wade is what’s confusing.

I don’t see how that’s feasible.

If it plays out like this and we don’t get Wade, that’s a really unprofessional way to handle McMahon. Just fire him now.

Agreed. Getting Wade would be a great result, but this process is bush league. Fire McMahon, go after Wade, and if it doesn’t work out then take a chance on another up and comer.

Sarkisian, Smart, Drinkwitz, Lea, DeBoer, Elko

What Kiffin did at Ole Miss is more impressive than anything Sark, Drink, or Elko has done so far in their careers.

Lea is still TBD if he can sustain anything after Pavia. DeBoer maybe.

I have a quandary. If he is hired, it will be glorious when LSU basketball loses 8 of its last 10 games and washes out.

Makes sense coming from the Johnny Jones apologist

Fun season after Johnny Jones disaster class. Beat eventual runner-up Michigan in regular season.

8 seed - tourney canceled for Covid

8 seed - won first round game, played 1 seed Michigan tough in 2nd round

6 seed - Got fired before the tourney. Probably beat Iowa St with him but lose in 2nd round.

Idk what your standard is for LSU basketball, but sign me up for more Will Wade.

God Bless Rousse, Mallet, Schroyer and Landry. The Good Ole Boy Network is still in place. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. So, Wade Rousse of West Southwest Louisiana Junior College at Lake Charles is the most qualifued person in the USA to take over the Presidency of LSU, huh? And now he's hiring Heath Schroyer of WSWLAJC@LC to take over Verge Ausberry's job in the LSUAD that's in charge of scheduling Non-SEC football games and the hiring of Head Basketball Coaches that used to to be employed by WSWLAJC@LC. Is that correct? Hey, whatever it takes to get the Gangsta Pear back in here.

I’m one of the biggest Landry haters on the planet but his guys are hitting home runs so far. That’s enough reason to be happy for me.

If this actually happens man… God bless Verge and Rousse

re: Go get Hubert Davis Immediately!

Posted by unctiger4 on 3/25/26 at 8:19 am to
Hubert is not a good coach. Besides the 3 week miracle run to the natty in 2022 his teams are consistently less than the sum of their parts. Even the 2022 team had tons of talent and was an 8 seed. Then he missed the tournament the next year after being preseason #1.

Now add the fact that he’s only done a mediocre job recruiting at a blue blood. He wouldn’t be able to even sniff big-time talent at LSU.

It would be Johnny Jones with worse recruiting.

Hubert would be a disastrous hire for many reasons

tGeneral beating eventual national runner up Michigan in his first year will always be a favorite memory of mine.

Waters steal -> overhead no-look pass -> Mays reverse slam

I may shed a pear just thinking about it

Totally reasonable to be frustrated but the performance so far, but anyone claiming the season’s over shouldn’t be taken seriously about anything.

We went through this same thing in 2024 and were basically one play away in Chapel Hill from hosting a Super.

He’s just not a D-1 hitter. Hence why he played at Grand Canyon for more than 2 years.

Boy are you gonna be shocked when I tell you what division Grand Canyon is in
Am I the only one that thinks Curiel’s defense is a bit overrated? He’s definitely solid, but I haven’t seen anything to think he’s much more than that. He seems kinda clumsy out there.
quote:

That’s likely 2 more than you’ve ever had in the nba.

Damn, that’s a great point. Everything I said must be wrong now.
quote:

Weird how they bring up defensive rebounds specifically cause he added another 2 offensively.

Are you under the impression that 4 total rebounds in 33 minutes is more impressive?

Offensive rebounds are nice in a vacuum. When you consider Zion’s game, he lurks for OREBs and jogs back on defense. His offensive boards become much less impressive when you consider the tradeoff.

quote:

I’d bring up 0 assists before I brought up specifically defensive rebounds.

Glad you mentioned that! That sucked too.

quote:

I think shooting 28% from 3 or the fact that Zion outscored our entire bench should be bigger concerns but bitchers will bitch.

Yeah man. This team has plenty of problems. But it’s a star driven league, and Zion continues to not hold up his end of the bargain despite the org bending over backwards to coddle him for years. So yeah he deserves to get bitched out by fans. Hardly controversial.
