Don’t even play him vs The Citadel. This is getting scary.

It would be smart if Locksley stopped dropping him back every 2nd and 3rd down. Hand the ball off or run a screen once in a while. Stop running it on first down, and completely abandoning the run.

Agreed. I’m starting to wonder if we can win out til playoffs. It’s the ultimate tease to have Tua and have to watch him limp around at 60%.
You can bet your arse Auburn is coming for blood.

How about the Tu called run into the line in the 1st quarter. That was just stupid as all hell.

Are y'all blind and dumb?
The injury has been explained 1000 times.
Do y'all see his runs and reactions and how he moves? The knee hurts sometimes. Watch his natural reactions when he celebrates.
The knee has been FINE.
It got banged up late tonight. Y'all don't understand sports if you don't understand why he was in and why certain plays were called. He was fine, so he played. He was fine, so they called certain plays.
Would y'all rather him sit until the SECCG? That isn't how sports work, guys.

I seriously doubt Tua can make it through a full game until his knee is surgically repaired. College QBs get hit every game, and he just can’t take a hit. We’re basically down to a pocket passer version of Tua each game until he gets hit, at which point we become an FCS offense until Jalen heals (which may not be til bowl/playoffs). It fricking sucks to see a team go from GOAT potential to doubtful to win the conference, but I guess that’s the downside of having an offense built around a single Heisman-caliber QB.

According to Saban there is no injury. We all know it’s BS. Every hit he takes basically makes it a coin flip whether he can stand up on his own afterward.

Need to rest him next week and let Mack run the full offense. Period.

Even his passes aren't the same since the injury. This isn't the same Tua that started the season. His knee isn't fine. Watch him have a procedure after the season is over.

Yeah he has been playing injured for a month now. Every game he is slow to get up, limping, his throws have been off, etc

Yeah, he isnt able to drive the ball. A lot of his balls sail and flutter because he cant plant.

I think that one was a mixup between Tua and Damien. If not...tar and feather..

A 2 week rest isnt going to get his knee to 100%. THe problem like today with him taking a cheap shot to it could easily cost of the season at this point which sucks.

It still just looks like a sprain. Still just needs rest.

Of course he'll have a procedure. His knee has been damaged.
You can either play. Or you can't play.
All week this knee is monitored and it's determined if he can play. He could play this week. Again, do you not see that it feels fine with how he moves and reacts and celebrates?
It might be fricked now. I'm not sure. But Alabama and Tua didn't do anything egregious with calls or playing him when they did.
Jesus.

I guess you're right because he sat out a single play when he got hit in the nuts last week, but otherwise I'd say the LSU game alone proved you don't know what you're talking about.

There are at least a dozen people on this board smarter than Saban and the entire medical staff. You should really start listening to what they say.
