The media and CFBPlayoff committee love Alabama.

Lose to LSU, get a bye week during the SECCG while winner of LSU/Georgia gets into the CFBPlayoff and loser sits at home. Alabama gets in.

Beat LSU, play against Georgia in the SECCG. Alabama wins, they’re in the CFBPlayoff and Georgia is out. Alabama loses, and both teams make it in.

Alabama is in either way.

Unless Auburn ruins it for them...

Kentucky is currently in a win-win situation. Win and go to the SEC Championship. Lose and Basketball season starts.

Seems to me like they're in a win-win every season regardless of their schedule.

You forgot this one, if ND gets in at no4, it's an easy street for Alabama into the title game.

You really don’t get how the rest of CFB won’t possibly let this happen, do you?

Also, I hope Auburn beats you too.

Maybe. I think it’s still possible they get dumped on if they lose to LSU and sit the SECCG out this year.

Would require Clemson, Notre Dame, Michigan and UGA winning out. Michigan would have a better loss. UGA would have lost to the same team that beat Bama, but have the conference championship. Clemson would be undefeated and conference champion. Notre Dame undefeated. What theoretically holds ND back in the playoff is a lack of conference championship, but neither them nor Bama would have a conference championship in the above scenario and Notre Dame would be undefeated with a win over Michigan. In a sense, Auburn could ruin it for them by not being a quality win. Bama likely would have beaten 0 ranked teams in the above scenario. Maybe 20 something Miss St or aTm.

With that said, I think they’re going undefeated and it’s moot.

Not only does Alabama pay the refs and the whole SEC, they pay the CFB playoff committee as well. Money well spent. Whoever said you can’t buy happiness doesn’t have a lot of money in their athletic department.

Tua getting hurt would probably work against us too, but hopefully it won't happen.
