Why is the East so much more civilized than the West?

This week's two big games really illustrate the point.
East: No matter who wins fans will have a good time. Wholesome Jason gifs are shared by all.
West: Piss balloons abound. Someone will surely die after the Gump v. Swamp People showdown.
What makes this divide so distinct? Is it education? Income levels? Nutrition?

No one cares about sec east teams

Probably the fact that we all know the East is just a stepping stone to the playoffs.

We are more passionate. And therefore more wild.
Considering the West is actually competitive yearly.

Well yeah, Auburn puts up a fight against Bama every so often.

The competitive nature of the west, and its dominance is what makes this different. Also 2 historically good programs are battling it out in the West, Teams that have won national championships within the last 38 years. Honestly, it’s hard to ever really get excited about games that include only east teams. Not a troll attempt, it’s just the truth.

You ask as Florida defenders grab Georgia offensive linemen in the taint.

Well clearly we like to party.
And the East is big on things like equestrian and women's basketball and shite.

The 2 most northern sec states, mizzou, and florida... i believe it's the yankee influence.

I was thinking more along the lines of how many times the East opponent in Atlanta has been completely out matched.
The answer is ALOT.

There was nothing civilized about the east when the Vols and gators were actually good. Can’t spell Citrus without UT-Ole ball Coach

Well since Lsu hasn't been to Atlanta in a long time, I guess you're dick riding Auburn and Bama.

Only further proves my point.
Last time we were there was 2011 and Georgia was stomped into the dirt.
Out matched
