Bamas not running up and down the field against LSU. This game will be close.

Completely disagree. This is our most complete team ever under Saban. I’m not one to predict blowouts and undefeated seasons all the time, but this year, this game will be lopsided before it’s over unless Tua goes down to injury.

I’m not going to say you’re wrong, but just so you have all the information...
Alabama is averaging 5.03 points per possession with Tua at QB (60 possessions, 41 TD, 5 FG). Alabama is also averaging 7.6 possessions per 1st half this year.
If you extrapolate these numbers out for a whole game, Tua is averaging 76.5 points per game.
If you assume LSU’s defense can hold Tua to 50%-60% of his usual output, we’re looking at about 38-45 points. If LSU holds him to just 75% of his normal output, (A&M held him to 81% of average output), you’re looking at 57 points.
To get Bama and Tua under 30 points, LSU would have to hold Tua to 45% of his normal output AND find a way to take away 2-3 possessions either through turnovers or ball possession.
