Austin Pea-soup has won six straight games and is yet another senior laden team playing the youngest team in the nation.

Man, a lot of y'all just don't know the game of basketball. This isn't football. Arkansas playing Sister Mary's Junior College isn't a guaranteed victory like it would be in football (Except we don't even win the gimmees in football like we should).

fricking Gonzaga is one of the best teams in the country and if it weren't for basketball I wouldnt even know that school existed.

A group of 4th year players is ALWAYS going to have an advantage over a group of guys who have only played around 10 games since playing 4A ball in the Arkansas high school ranks.

It is literally unbelievable to me that a lot of our fans vocal enough to post on message boards post shite like this. This is basketball 101 stuff.

The goddamn movie Hoosiers should lay this all out in crystal clear terms.

But our fans think this shite is like football. "Oh, you're a major division 1 team? Well you should enter the conference play season undefeated every damn year."

This thinking is about 180° out of phase with fricking REALITY.

Nice to see WKU bounce back after losing to both Troy and Belmont. I don't think 7-6 is what they envisioned coming into this season at this point.

Justice Hill arrives today, can play this year if they want.

Crazy that 2 weeks ago he was QBing a state championship now he's on the hill and joining the basketball team.

Depends on how good he is. If he is good enough to be an impact player right away, he will certainly play.

You expect a player that will not play in the NBA to give up the second semester of his senior season? There is a high probability that he goes through spring football as well, meaning he would play maybe 10 games.

Indiana playing Michigan on the road right now. Would be really great to see them win.

Maybe I missed some of this talk over the holidays and I know we have brought it up so many times so I didn't want to start a new thread but any other news on Garland? I saw he tweeted

"i'm so ready to see what God has in store for me in 2019. especially with the whole basketball situation.."

"im coming so different this year"

"you either gone shoot your shot or miss out on your blessing. we not throwing hints in 2019"

Doesn't really mean anything but wondering if anyone has heard anything new?

I was told last season Garland will likely never play. It seems as though this is true.

Really feel for the kid and hope for the best.

This is pretty much the only thing I have heard but it was before the season started. Didn't know if I missed anything new. Maybe he is just still trying to be hopeful.

If you have to play Kentucky you want to get them early

By the time we play them, they will be playing much better.
