I took Tua’s TD percentage and yards per attempt to compare him to Haskins.

I used Haskins completions and attempts to see what Tua would have if he was used the same amount and it came out to roughly 3,330 yards and 42 TD’s through 7 games. This guy will be one of the greats when it’s all said and done.

I am 100% on the Tua train and I firmly believe he's going to be one of the best QBs in college football history (and maybe in the NFL as well), but I do think that his numbers are probably a tiny bit inflated because of the caliber of teams we have played this season. I very well could be wrong, but I expect his numbers to level out a bit after the LSU game and especially after the playoff games. I still think they will be head and shoulders above everyone else, but not quite as jaw dropping as they appear now.
EDIT: I'll be as happy as anyone though if I'm wrong and his numbers continue to be as good as they have been so far.

I think his yardage will remain but his completion percentage may dip a bit.

osu's schedule isn't much stronger than BAMA's either.

Yeah but the stats I posted were only through the first 7 games. They could drop off and he’d still throw for 4500 and 60 TD’s.

I mean the completion percentage might be a little high, but we could have scored over 70pts on several of those teams, heck some of them 80+, if he had played a big chunk of the second half. So if anything his numbers are really not nearly what they could be.

When will the tOSU, the B1G, Fox Sports, all start promoting the Haskins for Heisman campaign?
I can gag on one of Gus Johnson's outbursts now as he screams about Haskins going around the end for a 2 yard gain on First down.

I can’t wait to be told Haskins “Heisman moment was the comeback against Penn State. 90% of his yards in those final 2 drives came After the Catch

(replying to this op bc i did not want to start a random thread about tua...)
just got home tonight from ten days in Maui. we have a lot of new (bandwagon) fans in hawaii. when locals asked where i was from, they immediately started talking about tua, told me "roll tide."
there were several times that i just happened upon some maui dudes discussing tua (example: arrived before opening time to hike the Kipahulu area of the Haleakala National Park & heard some park employees saying "..he just plays two quarters, scores 50 points & they take him out of the game..
) anyway...just thought this was fun and i WAS NOT decked out in bama gear, roll tiding everyone or walking around looking for alabama fans. it was all very random.
