Utter, complete failure to ask Morris ANYTHING resembling a tough question in the post-game presser.
Arkansas' 2nd half play distribution:
27 running plays
9 passing plays
Any questions about it? Not even close.
Repeated displays of inept tackling technique in the defensive backfield... particularly noticeable with a 'Captain'.
Any questions about it? Not even close.
Worthless pieces of shite.
Grow a pair and try asking about what everyone is asking themselves about for a change.

We ran that much because they don't trust cole, and you saw why. Stop being obtuse. Everyone knows but you apparently.
Stop blaming the play calling. Personnel dictates plays called. We didnt have a qb.

question: why did you put a guy in there you clearly didnt want running the offense

Maybe because Chadillac doesn't want to get our Friday pitcher killed by his shitty high school play calling

The same fans that complained about us throwing too much against Colorado State in the 2nd half are the ones saying we got too conservative and ran too much against Ole Miss despite us tearing them up on the ground all first half.

They did ask questions about the offensive and defensive breakdowns, Chad just always uses coach speak and doesn't answer the questions. He and the players always end every sentence with "We just gotta get better."

sigh
Before Ty goes out:
Running plays - 15
Passing plays - 4
Balance completely gone, but by all means spin this to something other than asking the media to explore why the sudden change in run/pass ratio for the 2nd half... a ration that was clearly working.
If for nothing else other than to hear Morris own the fact that they got too conservative... that would at least show ownership... but no.
Defense and tackling? Yeah, let's apparently not go there.
Whatever... betas.

Oh for the love of Christ. The only people who use that term are people who fantasize about homeless men having sex with their loved ones. We don't mind you are a perv but have the decency to not bring it up in public buddy.

Ty onlu threw the ball 12 times in the first half. 13 total when including Kelley.
So then you lose your good qb. So you throw 6 less passes. Makes sense.

Any 'fan' that actually expects us to win games right now is really delusional.
We looked pretty dang good until Boyd went down. We looked good until Whaley went down.
When Storey went down we were done and everyone knew it. The ONLY second guess one might apply is why play Kelly instead of Noland, but Kelly's first pass was a TD and he could pretty much run at will until Ole Miss stacked the box.
Can't really throw a freshmen into that last drive where we had to score.
I was pleased. Sure...I wish we had won...but I look at the recruiting efforts and the results on the field when we can manage to get any players at all out there...and I'm content to wait a couple years and see what happens.
Defense just got totally gassed. That's a problem, but also a result of numbers that we can play.

What do you expect?
Arkansas lost its top two rushers last night and its starting QB. Arkansas ran at will on Ole Miss for 3/4 of the game, so of course there were more rushing attempts. That is what was working.
Going into this game everyone knew it was going to be a shoot out. Which means you KNEW our defense was going to be soft as butter. When we lost 3 of our top offensive weapons, I knew we were going to lose.
Its not rocket surgery. We literally lost 85% of our offensive production from the game last night due to injury.

Speaking of that, anyone heard any updates on Boyd, Whaley, and Storey?
