From what I was told he needs a scope but hasn’t received it yet. His injury is a partial torn meniscus. If he has the scope now it’s 3-4 weeks out.
I actually have experience here, I played almost an entire baseball season with one and it was uncomfortable at times but not super painful.
So I dunno what should it will happen.

Learning pain management probably and getting the soreness down. However, if what I was told is true he needs the scope and now.

most can manage with a meniscus tear unless it is a severe tear. Just a lot of pain and swelling after the game.

I say sit him vs Tenn and give him 2 weeks to rest, then see how he's feeling vs LSU.
I think this team can go to LSU and win with Jalen if he has to start that game.

Yea I feared the worst, but he has some time to get healthy but without him I doubt we beat LSU

I don't feel good about that, to be honest. If our defense was what it usually is, I would agree. But, the defense has issues stopping the run, so I would expect LSU to score points. Thus, we HAVE to be able to put up a bunch of points.

So I actually kind of agree for two reasons:
Last night Jalen played like he had nothing to lose something Jalen never does.
He made some passes he would never make. That pressure pass to ruggs was totally not a Jalen play.
I think he has improved and can win some games. Tua is better but Jalen can do it IMO however, much closer than with Tua in.

I say have the surgery. It’s in his best interests. We will just roll with Jalen and hope for the best.

I just have my doubts that we can put up a bunch of points with Jalen, and I don't know that our defense can keep this game low-scoring enough for us to be able to survive without scoring a bunch.

Honestly without Tua even Mississippi State worries me. No knock on Jalen but they are looking better. But I think it’s worth the risk of having a healthy Tua back for the playoffs.

I think that’s where it is. Sit him until LSU, he sucks it up and wins it. We get him the procedure and move on with Jalen until he’s back.

If this is true I think he should have the surgery now and let the chips fall where they may.
