Meniscus tear sounds scary as shite. I tore my ACL and the doctors sounded more concerned about my meniscus because they said they couldn’t actually repair that, just clip it.

A meniscus tear isnt really an immediate need for surgery, as in if he has it now or at the end of the year it wont matter. The meniscus is rarely repaired, they just go in and cut it out and clean up the surface. So having surgery now verses later is really no big deal. I thought at first when he came out in the soft brace he might have had a transient patellar dislocation because that brace has patellar protection but not a lot of joint stability, but then they put him in the playmaker, which would be useful for a meniscus tear.

I think this team can go to LSU and win with Jalen if he has to start that game.

1.I think if our o-line plays well we win.
2. We get any huge plays from both waddle and jacobs in the return games we have a good chance of a win.
3.Like in the past Dave Aranda will dial up the blitz from the slot on jalen as for the read option.
But unlike with just Calvin as the primary Wr concern we have the ability to strike thru all our offensive options.
So jalen only needs to make a handful of plays.

LSU QB barrows plays more aggressive/confident at home .
But The Fla game showed me all I needed to see as there run game has to set up there pass.If BAMA get out to a lead Barrow will not the same aggressive guy.
This is the game our D-line has to play lights out.
Mainly 99,92,49 and Moses needs to have a why I choose BAMA statement night.

If Tua is good to go Aranda defense has never had to prepare for multiple options,
like we have in this In a LSU vs Bama match up.
The one thing I hope we take away from the LSU vs UGA game is the getting a man on white on all run plays.
That was causing LSU's defense a lot of problems.

I'm actually worried that it's more than a meniscus. I was thinking that it's one of those injuries that won't get better and he can play on it, but when he has the procedure, he'll be in months of rehab

If it was worse Tua wouldn't have been walking around.

If they are going to do the procedure the sooner the better. I think seeing him hurt himself on that run doesn't make it seem like a mild issue that he should try to play through.

Why not? People walk around with torn ACLs. I'm not saying he has a torn acl, I'm just using that as an example. I was thinking it could be his meniscus and LCL

Well if he has it today or tomorrow he would have 3 weeks off from practice time . I have had some of my players have this and they played in two weeks . Guess it just depends . Sucks either way. Wrong time of year for this to pop up

I never saw someone with a torn ACL walk around immediately after tearing it or aggravating it. Furthermore, the medical staff wouldn't allow Tua to put weight on a torn ACL injury this soon afterwards.

And, I tend to think Saban is being fairly honest about Tua's injury. Why? It's not just about Tua but also Taulia. If Tua needs surgery I believe Saban will make sure he gets and gets it immediately.

Yea they do. Chapman played on a torn ACL. We had a punter play a season with one. Jessie Williams screwed his during the SEC championship and came out for a couple of series and then went back. Hell, Saint, our very own Air Force hero joined the military with a torn acl

And, none of those guys is Tua. A lineman with a torn ACL is different because the movements they need their bodies to complete are different than those of a dual threat QB.

So one minute you say the medical staff won't let players walk around after a torn ACL and now you're moving the target by saying they won't let Tua do it because it's different. You can't have it both ways
