I'll be within walking distance of there but I don't see a crawish omelette on the menu. You sure that's it?
It might be a seasonal thing, someone said earlier crawfish aren't in season.
It's still a good breakfast spot. Get there early before the line gets long.

I put it in another thread, but get a poboy at parkway bakery or the fatty brisket plate at blue oak bbq. They're within walking distance of each other in the mid-city neighborhood so a strong move would go do both with a couple local beers.

If you really want a taste of New Orleans, do lunch on Friday at Galatoire’s. Get in line early Friday morning or pay what they call a line sitter to keep your spot. Stay through dinner that night. Bring a blazer.

Chartres House, the BBQ shrimp and Crawfish bread are amazing together.

Surrey Cafe is the best local food we have experienced so far.

Surrey's is legit, though Toast is the best brunch out there IMO. Fairgrounds location > Uptown

The whole town is a tard crowd.
Fun for about one or two days at a time, then get the hell out..

There's a place called Red (or maybe Red Cafe) on Magazine that's quite good. They have all sorts of creative entrees (e.g., King Cake French Toast during Mardi Gras).
Deanie's Seafood is also good.

Stein's is solid - it's always the last stop on the way out of town to get something for the road.
