Still going to add the best TE in the country by the end of the year. Devin bush a 4 star CB is visiting soon. He has jad a weird recruiting phase. He is tweeting up a storm about us, and i think is friends with dejon harris. Also i bet we add another 4 star safety in catalon and high 3 * D linemen carter. When you add just these guys it puts us just below tenner on 247. Essentially tied for 6th place in the sec. It will place us the highest we have ever been. We will still take offensive lineme after that. I have no idea where we would be on rivals, but if we are 14th now we would definitely have a top 10 class. Top 15 on 247.

You are right. FIRE MORRIS!

You know, us Hog fans really don't ask for much. If he can recruit well enough (appears he's able to do that), and keep us to an average (regular season) win total of 8.5 - 9 games per year over his career, we'll build a GD statue of him outside of RS.

I'll say this, we are damn sure improving with each game played. I'm encouraged by what I've seen in the game to game improvements and by his recruiting.

He just doesn't have the players on offense required to run his system, but he'll get them, and (hopefully) will win with those players.

ETA: With the players that's committed on defense, and by what Chief has accomplished with our current player roster, I expect bright days on the horizon with defense.

We commin.

Are all of these WRs going to line up and block?

This looks like an Ole Miss style class, just adding a shite ton of on paper stars and not addressing what we actually need.

Until we get some decent OL depth, no one will have time to throw the ball to any of them.

Ole miss talent looks pretty good about now. If they had a coach worth a damn they would actually win some games. I think they actually beat Bama a couple times with all those wide receivers.

You think we beat them?

They def. didn't get blown out at home by CUSA.

Well, we aren't going to be playing Kelley or one of the freshman QBs so we likely won't throw 6 interceptions again in a game. That will lose you the game against 99% of teams.

Yea that wasn't the coaches call or anything.

Guess Bert's players not pick the starting QB and leave him in after 4 INTs.

Hot take, I know.

You can honestly watch this team play and not think we are in severe need of skill players on offense? We have exactly 1 worth a damn and it's a true frosh Morris recruited. We need everything on that side of the ball. There are already 3 O-linemen in this class.

Everyone is bitching about the O line (and for good reason), but i would argue that the WRs are the worst position group on the team.

We have addressed what i think is the worst group, but we need to address the worst problem and that is the offensive line. The only reason the line is a bigger problem, is the fact that the sec has the biggest concentration of the best D linemen by far.

What you fail to realize is that we have 3 SR's starting on the OL. Next year's OL could be worse. Fry isn't doing us any favors with his shitastic recruiting results so far.

Limmer was brought in bc of Jeff Traylor. Latham is a huge reach. Stone is about the only one he can get really get credit for. Even he lacks at least one other SEC offer.

I said it was the bigger problem for a reason. I know next year will be worse. That is why we need jucos now. We need jucos and 1 more high school guy.

Latham is rated higher than Stone. Really hope we can get some of the JUCO guys though.

I just re-read what you said. The names being mentioned for Juco OL will not get you excited.

Tim Anderson doesn't have any major offers outside out of the Hogs and Louisville.

Same for Myron Cunningham, except he doesn't have any other P5 offer at all. This goes for Josh Donovan as well.

You really have to hope we can land Chibueze Nwanna and/or Josh Cooper as they both have at least more than 3 P5 offers.

These are the only names I can think of off the top of my head at the moment.

I honestly could see Marcus Miller moving to OL. Don't forget Austin Capps is redshirting this year to move to OL next year.

To me it is, although I don't see Morris letting his own guy after one season.

Recruiting breeds recruiting. Kids all know or know of each other. Every 4 star we sign draws attention of other SEC caliber recruits.

Its been so long since we signed any that its understandable that there are actually people on here complaining because we have too many stud WRs in the class....sheesh.

Let him do his job for a couple years...then gear up the complaints if you want.
