Dawgs are in for a rude awakening.

Was at the game yesterday.There are things you see in person that you can’t on tv. This team is leaps and bounds from last years team.Everyone ( most of the time) is just going through the motions. Looking down on the sideline the players looked like they were hanging out in the hallways at high school. Maybe it’s just me but it looks like they think they show up and they can win. I don’t know how many games they lose from here on out but hopefully it can be used as an example for 2019. I didn’t expect such a drop off from this team as far as focus but it has. 5 games in and it seems to get worse every game. I guess we will see what THIS team is made of after it gets spanked because it’s coming sooner than later. Just being honest. Still Love the Dawgs ! Go Dawgs !!

I thought most Georgia fans expected this season to be a "down" year and maybe lose 2 games or so? Georgia has struggled somewhat this year but they still have won each game by double digits. I know a lot of teams right now that would love to have that struggle.

The players we have can compete with anyone. There’s been some sloppy undisciplined play but it will get corrected. LSU is coming up on the schedule at just the right time. The players will have learned from a lot of mistakes and corrected them by then. The physicality is slowly getting better but the penalties need to get corrected. We are also learning how best to get fields involved. He may not be ready to start but he helps score points and brings another element to the game.

We are coming to LSU. UGA will have players that are confident and balling out by that time. Something they are still working on early in the season.

Spot on.
I was in Athens yesterday and admit there seemed to be a lack of focus at times. It wasn't the pounding I expected. Still, this is a young team that needs time to grow and develop. Two losses are a strong possibility, but if this team plays to its potential, it's also possible to run the table. I'd rather be in Georgia's position than most teams in the SEC.

What are you talking about? All the uppers in the world wouldn't be enough to get a team up for the Vols. I'm genuinely surprised that the Georgia team could stay awake.

Sorry...but unfortunately UGA will be going to red stick after we beat LSU at home the week before, so expect a fired up bunch of Cajuns to contend with.

Agree. I watched the Missouri game fully. If not for 17 points the refs directly effected..that game had a different end.
Georgia is young..young teams have growing pains. Just haven't played the meat of the schedule to expose the flaws yet. I see two loses this season before Atlanta. Next year will be scary though with Fields.

No. I don't expect Georgia fans to admit it. But everyone who watched it without red tinted glasses saw Missouri get screwed.
