nobody will care once again.
They would be a 8-4 team or worse in the SEC.

Then they should join a real conference or shut the frick up.
Right, because they just call up the SEC or ACC, say "We want to join, send us our conference schedule for next year."

Auburn was plenty good, they didn’t want to be there. That’s a sad statement, but it’s true. If that game had been meaningful Auburn wins going away.
I was at that game as a neutral observer. AU was subdued from the start and UCF was amped. I was shocked at how well UCF fans travelled, and at how loud they were. AU fans were treating it as a social affair, and really didn't respond to much.
I'd say that AU was a disappointed team heading into that game, didn't want to be there, and, combined with the euphoria of UCF, allowed themselves to get into a slugfest for which they had not prepared...

Current fpi is 49th. Remaining sos ranking is 83. Hot, wet garbage.

The two best teams they will play this year are North Carolina (currently 0-2) and Pitt (currently 1-1)
USF is way better than both

What the frick? I think you are forgetting about a badass USF team
Point stands. UCF's schedule doesn't offer any evidence of a top-4 team even if they steamroll everyone they play this year.

Does the committee leave them out again?
Not with their schedule. If they want to get into the big game, they better start playing with the big boys (ie, Bama, UGA, Auburn, LSU, etc).

East Carolina may give them a battle
