I think you beat UF but lose to USC.

Why would we beat USC and lose to Florida.
FPI is fricking useless.

Y'all's ceiling is 7-5.
Am I doing this right? You know, Mizzou troll style? Y'all are the master(bater)s ... lemme know.

Wish we could have your big moral victory of narrowly losing to Clemson. You must be so proud of your home loss. The West is so strong that we can almost come back against superior teams!
Haven't we won like 7 of the last 8 against you by the way?

Because the FPI is really good at telling you relatively where teams stack up, but pretty bad at predicting games between teams it considers to be pretty close to each other.

I dont need FPI to tell me Alabama is probably going to beat Mizzou.

Actually, FPI says you have 5.73 wins out of those remaining 10 games.

That's not our ceiling but I wouldn't be shocked. Although, I do think 9-3 is a pretty fair guess at this point.
We've looked pretty good in all facets (I've been disappointed with the run game). Lock looks REALLY good. Running through progressions and very accurate. Emanuel Hall is the best WR in the country nobody talks about, and the TE group is very talented.
The middle of our defense is strong. We are going to be hard to run on for most teams. We don't have the pass rush right now that we've been known for, but Walters' blitz packages have been effective. The DBs have been a nice surprise. That was an area of concern coming in but they've been sound.

ESPN FPI says 7.7-4.4. So I disagree.
It also has Ole Miss at 7.9-4.1.

Basically what FPI is saying is that you will beat Purdue, Memphis, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Arkansas, you will lose to Georgia and Alabama, and South Carolina and Florida are toss-ups.
I'd say that's accurate.

I hope, there are a lot of good teams.

So far we've beaten the walking dead, a cupcake, and a nice Danish. Irrational enthusiasm. I predict a mid tier bowl with a kick in the nuts somewhere along the way.
That's an improvement, btw. And it will probably get better the year after that.

I don't disagree with any of that ... been saying Lock is the best future NFL QB prospect in the league since we played y'all last season. Kid is a natural for the NFL. Someone will steal him away in the draft.

Have y'all really played anybody yet? UT Martin and Wyoming? Are you sure you want to hype-up your squad this much this soon? At least wait until after the Purdue game, amirite? Then comes UGA.
You'll know what you've got soon enough. If you're really stout up the middle ... dem damn dawgs gonna test that theory of yours, trust me. lol ... y'all had better be. I'm not sure you've really grasped the reality of the situation just yet but who knows.
Our defense is not chopped liver but UGA sure made them look that way Saturday. A lot of teams are in for a big surprise when they see what UGA's bringin' ... and you have got to see it in person to really appreciate it.

I don’t think we’ll know what we have until we play y’all.
I expect us to beat a kinda bad Purdue team easily and then get walloped by a very good Georgia team. Neither of which will tell us anything we didn’t already know.
