Nobody had gained more than 261 yards in the last 6 games against Clemson.

Clemson’s defense is legit. I still can’t belueve we had 500+ yards, outplayed them, and should have won the game. I’ll be pissed forever about that damn game. Getting madder and madder just thinking about it.

Wait and see as the season plays out. Their defense is fantastic. Mond just played out of his mind in the second half.

Clemson held Auburn to 6 and Stidham to a grand total of 37 yards last year. That D is still legit.

I feel your pain bro. With better play calling on offense, Auburn should have beat Clemson last season and probably 2016 too.
You'll probably be really mad about it most of the season any time you think you about, but i found a pretty good remedy last year to help you forget. All y'all need to do is go out and beat tf out of UGA and Bama in a 3 week span while both are ranked #1, you'll feel much better

Then follow it up with a 2 game losing streak and watch your 2 biggest rivals play in the college football playoffs. Then you'll feel like you've hit the lottery.

He really did. And thinking about that, even though AtM got screwed by that horrible call, that play wasn't even as big as when the backup qb came in and coughed up the ball.
To me, the turnover there was bigger. That play call has to be the dumbest of the year so far. AtM would have gotten a td or fg on that drive and been down 5, 1 or the game tied with a ton of time and all the momentum in the world. I thought AtM was going to win the game when they got that big run down to the 20. After the turnover on the next play when Mond was out, I never thought AtM was going to win from that point on.

Clemson was vulnerable in the back end last year and is vulnerable back there this year. They just didn't play very many teams that could exploit it (Jalen led Alabama included).
I surely didn't think A&M would be the ones to exploit that, but helluva job by Mond, Jimbo and those receivers.
