Your defense should be pretty stout, no?

Looking forward to it.

Yea we can. For whatever reason USC gets up for the UGA game. We play them tough no matter how shitty our team is that particular year.

Unless this post is about the top of a Gamecoot coed in the parking lot at noon, the answer is probably not.

Carolina tends to play well in this game, even when overmatched on paper.

I don't think the Cocks will win, but I think it'll be a one-score game deep into the fourth. I do know that the crowd will do anything possible to influence the outcome. Gonna be loud.

Georgia's de, ledbetter, is out for the game. Will effect their pass rush.

I think we have a great chance, but we've had pretty bad results in big games at Williams-Brice over the last couple of years so it wouldn't surprise me if the game got away from us either

We're not only going to pull it off...we're going to stick it...just the tip...just for a second...just to see how it feels.

Can we pull this off? Absolutely. Will we pull this off? Eh, not so sure about that.

Offense: McClendon did a good job calling the second half of the bowl game against Michigan and the first regular season game against Coastal, but it remains to be seen how the offensive game plan can perform against a sturdy defense. The interior line is as good as it's been in a while, so hopefully the offense can actually establish a ground game this season. I believe the ability to consistently run the ball will be the key on offense (only ran for 43 yards last season) so that the secondary can loosen up for our talented wide receivers and tight ends.

Defense: The losses of Taylor Stallworth, Dante Sawyer, and Skai Moore worry me for the defense's ability to stop the inevitable run-heavy offense of Georgia. Add in the fact that 3 new starters in the secondary are still being broken in, one of the top 5 DB's is suspended for the first half, and the best pass-rusher (DJ Wonnum) might be slowed by an ankle injury sustained against Coastal and I believe Georgia will score 31+ without question.

Bottom Line: I hate Georgia and want to believe that USC will win this game, but there are several crucial question marks on offense and defense that make it hard for me to have much confidence. That being said, Williams-Brice will be rocking and the defending SEC champs have a target on their back so the players will be extra motivated, anything can happen.

Score prediction: 34-24 UGA

These are two very evenly matched teams. I like the home team when teams are similarly talented.

Probably a slight edge to Carolina on the coaching side of things.

We can definitely pull it off. However Bentley has struggled in big games and Muschamp hasn't proven he can win these types of games yet so I have my doubts. Hoping for a good game regardless of the outcome.

South Carolina will hang for a half, then fold. Georgia is too good.

If USC starts off hot and gets the crowd into the game I think they can run with any team in the country this year.

I give them a 40% chance of pulling it off. I know that doesn't sound very good but against a team that played in the national title game that is pretty darn good.

Georgia by 16 or more. 2 well coached football teams, one with studs on top of studs and the other a middle of the SEC type talent level. Strange things happen but Dawgs are alerted so expect the expected.

Of course not. Why would anyone ever think fans of a good team would be able to win and think their team could win their next game.

I don't have any problems with SC fans thinking they'll win. It's just funny to me watching them build up average players to be All Americans and downplaying guys from the other side who have shown immense talent.

We've got a puncher's chance.

Our boys are gonna need our crowd at their backs. That'll be the difference in the game ... and, of course, as everyone is saying this week, whoever flinches first loses. I prefer to think that whoever handles adversity and weathers the punches wins.

If South Carolina can be balanced on offense and if their defense can prevent Georgia getting 200+ yards rushing...I think they will have a decent shot.
