I have been saying this all off season and watching the games only made me more sure of my opinion. It will be a blowout. The cocky attitude coming from the fake USC is unreal. They are the media darling of upset picks. Kirby will have our players ready to go.

I think we get the ball first and strike early. Then they go 3 and out. And we score again. All of the sudden it's 14-0 half way through the first, and people are wishing they stayed home in their trailers to watch this embarrassment. 24-0 at half, and 38-7 is the final score. The Gamecocks are all gone by the end of the 3rd and realize they will have another 8-4 type year.

I think we easily win by double digits. People keep wanting to say "uga never plays well in columbia" but ignore lots of the circumstances around said games. For starters, these aren't the spurrier-era gamecocks that were often top 5-10 teams. We also don't have our former coaching staff.

There isn't a single player on our roster that has ever lost to SC. None of our coaches were here the last time we lost to SC. Kirby's first year we played in columbia and dominated about 50 minutes of that game. Eason only copmleted like 5 passes but we let them hang around before eventually winning by 14. I rewatched last season and that should have been a blowout. We again won by double digits in a game where we fumbled at their 5 yard line and inexplicably opened with an onside kick.

Yes SC will be better than last year mainly due to having deebo, and he is undoubtedly a game changing type of player. But he's not going to beat us by himself. We are more physical, we are more talented, we have better coaches, and have better players. It may be close the first half while people get settled in but I'm not concerned about losing in the slightest bit.

I think SCAR comes out of the gate fast. I think it’s close the 1st half, 17-17. UGA wears them down on the LOS and wins 31-23

Fromm won’t be rattled, and with experience under center, Galliard will help with the silent snap count. Simply put, avoid turnovers and limit penalties, UGA wins.

If this offense, with a fully opened playbook and an incredible amount of talent and speed, doesn't score 50, I'll consider it disappointing. Defense gives up a couple of early scores and then gets their shite together.

See my thread I posted, many SC fans think we can win due tobthe losses you took L, but the talent past the starting 22 isn't even close. I see UGA 34 SC 24....it will be close into the 4th but depth wins out.

However if we can't hit quick passes and screens to open the run it'll be very ugly for us.

Carolina won a lot of games last year off of turnovers too. That is the one stat in college football which varies greatly from year to year and is more luck based then anything. The chance of them getting the same success this year is minimal.

As long as we don't turn the ball over, make them drive the field and Fromm makes good decisions, we should win by 10 + pts strictly based on talent.

However, home field advantage is real and Deebo is a homerun not only in the pass but kicking game too. We have to get that guy on the ground on special teams.

I say 35-24 with us pulling away in the 4th. I do think it will be close and a special team/turnover play away from losing type game.

That's exactly what I said in my "realistic SC fan" post

I do. When you start trying to assemble the reasons why SC keeps it close or wins, it all turns into stuff about the stadium, sandstorm, "never play well in Columbia".

Game is sandwiched between two cupcakes for us. Their players, alums, and the national media have been generously providing bulletin board material.

Finally, everyone seems to be assuming that sc will have this dynamic offense. It is still a Muschamp team. They have some holes on the OL. I expect them to be average in y to me of offensive efficiency.

I agree, this is not the hard nosed Spurrier team that adopted his hate for the program. They don't have that one spectacular player like Clowney, Lattimore, etc. that can basically win the game individually.

With that, they seem to be an above average team but this UGA one is on another tier right now.

Does UGA go ball control and run on first down 80% of the time?

Or do we keep first down more balanced and trust Fromm to execute?

I think this is a question if we think we can run on Scar even if they stack the box.

Regardless of what we do on 1st down, I still expect 2:1 run:pass.

20-17 at the half. UGA scores a late TD on a long, physical drive very late in the 4th to win 41-31.

I’ll go with an unpopular pick just to stir the pot.

USCe takes advantage of home field, trick plays, and improved talent to get ahead fast and comes out with a big upset. 28-23 birds.

USC tries to go cute and tries to hit a home run with their opening drive to get the crowd into it. That backfires and UGA capitalizes immediately and the blowout is on.
