I am new to rivalries but I have accept Aggie as our rival.
Can I root for them vs Clemson?

Correct - to have a rivalry, you must beat them sometime. That means Aggies are not LSU’s rival.
Just like LSU is not Alabama’s rival.

LSU has played the Aggies on and off for a very long time...
they're about the last of the long time teams that are still relevant in college football (Rice and Tulane are teams we played for a long time as well that are no longer relevant as far as Top 25 is concerned)
