What Mega Churches in this little state have you attended?
I attended New Life Church Cult of Bezet for a couple of years. Total den of charlatans and terrible people.
I'm waiting for opinions on Cross Church.

NLC is all about Bezet making money. They will cut a location if it isn’t making enough, and I know first hand their campus pastors go out and recruit big givers from other churches.
As for Cross Church, while they take a bashing in here they have a lot of good people working for them that do a lot of good work. People bash Ronnie, but all dealings I have had with him have been pleasant. As for the lighting issue, if it’s not up to code he should change it. It is the right thing to do, and portraying an I don’t have to obey the rules attitude is of no benefit to the body.
As for Cross Church, while they take a bashing in here they have a lot of good people working for them that do a lot of good work. People bash Ronnie, but all dealings I have had with him have been pleasant. As for the lighting issue, if it’s not up to code he should change it. I am not sure I'd call it a mega-church (though it has to be close) but the First Marion church here is yuge, completely yuge, its so yuge you gotta see how yuge it is.

Some large churches have gyms attached to them for basketball games and the like. FM has a bigger and nicer gym then the local high schools.
They are big enough that they have a semi-professional rescue group that goes out to various emergencies (tornadoes, hurricanes, and that sort of business)... and they don't just take a rescue van or two with them. They take the rescue 18 wheeler parked out back of the church and loaded with supplies. The gent who lives across the street from us is very active in that and he's away from home at least 75% of the time during the summer.
Really nice people. I've been to a few weddings and a funeral there. No one has handled any snakes or started speaking in tongues around me. It is, however, a bit daunting to think that this one church probably has at least ten percent of the town's population attending it weekly along with a small horde of folks coming in from neighboring towns.

I can't say too much because my experiences with him have all been work related.
Several people I work with have spent time alone with him. Every single one describes him as a fake, a phony, or two faced.

My family was in on the ground floor at McArthur AoG in Jacksonville. Had been going to the church since it was on Otter Creek. I remember being a kid and getting to walk around the construction site of the current building. It was crazy watching it grow so much from the time I was a baby to adulthood.

This doesn't surprise me. Their Fayetteville guys both built brand new custom homes in one of the nicest subdivisions in town shortly after moving up here from Conway. One of them wasn't even 30 at the time.
