Will this be the season the 38 year drought ends? And how do you think the QB position will play out?

Well, we are going to find out. May need one more year but we are getting there.

To first question: No. Lost to much talent and leadership. Kirby caught lightening in a mark Richt shaped bottle so to speak. We will take a big step back this year (8-4, 9-3, something like that) and come back in 2019 to challenge for the East. We are bing massively overrated in preseason (see 2008).

Regarding quarterbacks: "if you have 2 QBs, you don't have 1" is how the old saying goes, and that may hold true. Fromm played with training wheels named Chubb and Michel last season. They are gone along with his best OL/LT. Fields has some decent potential, but is unproven and apparently struggling to grasp the playbook. Hoping one of the two steps up to the challenge, but its shaky at this point to say the least.

Probably not. Fromm starts. Dawgs crush the Aubies. Just another year

Head tells me next year for the Natty

Heart says this year

I hope it's both :-)

Fromm is the starter this year, Fields gets a good amount of pt though.

2019 may very well have a QB battle for the starting spot between Fromm and Fields

Iron sharpens iron, may the best QB win.

Since 2006 Aubie is 3-10 against UGA.

Nope, lose to Bama in the SECCG and they won’t take 2 SEC teams if Bama wins the conference.

Fromm’s the starter all season if he stays healthy, Fields gets more work as the season goes along.

I can’t wait to troll you by the UF game for these dumbass comments.

No one thinks we are going 8-4. Not one person in the whole media in this whole country.

Is this the year you get over your rejection letter from UGA?

Going by history, no.

Expect multiple losses from UGA the year after an SEC championship.

I disagree. You guys will lose two games worse case in my opinion.. the schedule sets up nicely, especially with Auburn at home.

6-6, 7-5 at best. We’re not gonna be very good.

Also, with a National Championship, NC appearance and a few SEC Championship titles in that same span..

I'm a Bama fan. But I don't see anyone in the East challenging UGA this year for the Eastern title.
