Going into the first meeting between A&M and South Carolina, they were riding the nation's longest active home win streak (18 games), 4 straight 9-win seasons including 3 straight 11-win seasons and were in the zenith of their football program.

They were facing a Texas A&M team that just lost Johnny Manziel and Mike Evans so clearly they weren't going to be up for the task of winning in Williams Brice against the #9 team in the country on a Thursday night in the inaugural game broadcast of the SEC Network.

Then this happened: Kenny Hill's Debut

Since that game, South Carolina is 25-25, on their third head coach, and nowhere close to returning to their peak form under Spurrier...oh, and they're winless against the team that broke their program, Texas A&M.

We are the most self-deprecating group of fans on this board. 0-21 didn't break us, a century of losing hasn't. You think a bunch of ****s from Texas can?

This. I've always been fairly impressed with USC fans since moving out here. In fact, the only bad encounter I've ever had was while I was parking at Williams Brice in 2003. Guy tried to accuse one of my kids of opening the door of our truck into his truck. He was drunk though so he got a pass. Everyone else was awesome.

South Carolina fans are a hell of a lot better than you baby t-sips.

Even when they were doing poorly, the AKCs (arse kickin' chickens) still filled their stadium and yelled like hell -- and were fun to hang out with.

Aggie traffic in the 3rd quarter during a loss is worse than LSU's

Was it A&M, or was it the worst defense in school history combined with Spurrier clocking out?

I’ll go with the latter.

That was the fanbase sending a message to the administration about Sumlin. It was heard loud and clear.

I still don't see how that team won 7 games.

One of the best offenses in school history statistically.

If that defense was half as good as it actually was I bet that’s another 10 win season,

It's good to see two perennial bottom dwellers so competitive with each other...
