Spending a few days at a resort. Never been there before, any recommendations for activities/excursions or restaurants?
Obviously, I'll set aside 10-15 minutes to jack it. Jackin it in San Diego

Go outside. Walk around. Find shite.

CNB, the reason I'm asking is because I'm only there for a few days. I don't have time to get lost inside a whale's vagina.

Gaslight district for night life, just watch out for the bums. Get a California burrito. Yell at illegals. My one regret was never going to the safari park. Enjoy weather that isn't a wall of sticky hot mess.

Coronado beach, La Jolla, climb (hike to the top of) Cowles, visit the zoo or safari park. Check out many of the neighborhoods. Quite a few cool ones, each with a different feel. One of my two favorite cities I've ever been to.

play torrey pines, it's a public course. It's about $200 which is certainly high but it's obviously (probably) going to be the only time in your life you'll ever play it so why not.
As mentioned, coronado beach (there's a cool deck area by the coronado hotel) and gaslamp district are worth checking out.

You're going to sweat your arse off. It's a freaking oven out here. I'd try the Gorilla Glue or Girl Scout Cookies they're pretty trending right. The UK Cheese is always a good bet when it's available.

San Diego is awesome. Go to the gaslight district. great restaurants. Nice for walking around. Visit the aircraft carrier there on display if you like that kind of stuff (I do.)

Round of golf at Torrey Pines
USS Midway - This is a serious must and plan to spend about 4-6 hours.

Unless you spent time on an aircraft carrier in the Navy, it is a great tour. It comes with a self-guided audio tour and you can crawl all over the ship.
Lots of history to be learned and many of the docents were stationed on Midway and recap real life events.

Gaslamp District is awesome... Spend the day on Coronado Island. You might get to see some SEALs or other Spec Op guys training. Check out the Hotel Del Coronado and enjoy the beaches.. If you have the time check out Pacific Beach and the amusement park at Mission Beach.
San Diego is an awesome city... Lived there for 10 years and if I could afford a nice house in a nice area, I'd move back... Anyway, enjoy yourself and be safe..

Head up north to Encinitas one day and spend time at the beach and then stop in at Juanita’s taco shop. Get a burrito and don’t forget to grab the carne asada fries. My favorite all time burrito & fries.
