Is Nick Saban's inability to develop Jalen Hurts a sign of his age starting to show

There's been a slew of elite QB transfers from Bama lately. Here's a few of note

Black Barrnet
David Cornwell
Cooper Bateman
Alec Morris

Why weren't these players developed at Bama? Is Saban starting his story to becoming Bowden and Joe pa?

Name the elite national championship qb’s under him

ETA After looking at your post history I’m actually ashamed of myself that I responded. Have fun with your “troll thread.” Just throw stupid outlandish shite against the wall and see what sticks. Of course you’ll get bites “trolling” high school dropouts with the IQ of potato. How original and creative. Congrats, you’re the smartest retard. And to think we used to have real discussions on this forum and legitimately smart people posted here. Have fun retard. /rant get off my lawn.

This is a clear trend of QBs regressing under Saban. Even McCarron's TDs and QBR dropped and his INTs more than doubled from his junior to senior year.

Can Saban develop his own QBs or does he have to import transfer who were developed elsewhere like McElroy and Coker?

Tua is doomed

Yep, you nailed it. He’s not earning his keep.
Maybe if we had an offensive coordinator stay on staff for more than a year we could create some consistency and win one of those elusive trophies. Just maybe.

You’re trolling Saban over a starter who is 25-2 with an SEC title and a national title.

He has as many titles as he does losses. He has three playoff wins as a starter. The rest of the conference has one. This is dumb.

Yes, because all those guys were All-Americans upon leaving Alabama.

I think it’s more of a sign of lack of talent evaluation at the QB position. Perhaps Saban’s only weakness. Tua was scouted by Kiffin.

This is really a dumb thread if you understand Nick Saban football. He wins with defense, running the ball and enough QB play to keep defenses honest and not hurt the team. He doesn't need a Chad Kelly to win, just a competent QB . His teams are not geared for a shootout. It works 95% of the time.

I'll trade you Ed Orgeron for Nick Saban's corpse. Deal?

Sadly the alabama machine and support structure could probably continue to contend for titles for a couple years with sabans corpse propped up on the sideline

He's not an offensive or QB coach. Dumb question. If he can hire guys that can do it that's all that matters.
