Are you serious? That is ridiculous. Why not play tomorrow?

That's the 2nd or 3rd time they've shown the 3rd base ump laughing with ASU players/coaches. Selective camera work perhaps, but found it funny that instead of separating 3B and the runner, she walks behind the ASU runner and laughs about it.

SC is falling apart here.

ASU opening it up. 3-run double. I’ve watched ALOT of softball this weekend. Can’t help but notice a lot of anti-SEC umpiring. Maybe it’s just me.

Often seems to very much favor the higher ranked team.

Seems FSU took all the momentum from that extra inning win right into this second game.

If OU and Oregon win their opening games they'll play each other. That side of the bracket at the CWS will be interesting.

Georgia and Florida are the only two SEC teams to advance. Will face each other in the opening round in OKC.

Go Dawgs!

For the CWS, I think this is how it plays out:
Bracket 1:
Oregon v AZ St
OU v UW
Bracket 2:
UF v UGA
FSU v UCLA

They have that weird crossover thing, so I believe round 1 winners will be:
UF v UCLA - with UCLA winning (I think they are playing better than anyone right now)
UO v OU (UO, their pitching is stellar and hitting will get enough to get the win)

From the losers bracket, survivors would be:
UGA, UW
They play the loser of the Round 1 winners bracket, with a crossover, so the matchups I project would be: OU v UGA and UF v UW, with OU and UF surviving.

That would mean OU v UCLA, OU needs to win 2, UCLA needs to win 1, to get to the championship series. And UF v UO, UF needing to win 2 and UO needing to win 1 to get to the championship series.

I think the championship series will be UCLA v Oregon, with UCLA taking it 2 games to 1.

Oklahoma, UCLA, and Oregon have the three most balanced teams left, in that order.

Florida has an outside chance of winning it all because of pitching and defense, and we have the most clutch hitter in the nation. But we don't have many great hitters this year and relying on getting walks/HBPs to manufacture runs is not going to work against the top teams. It'll be a challenge.

The remaining four teams may win a game or two but none of them have the horses to win it all.

Yeah, I definitely think the champion comes from that trio. UF needs a top tier lefty pitcher and a dramatically better hitting line up. UF's offense is just too weak overall and inconsistent. But whoever that freshman was that pinch hit today, she needs to get in the lineup. That was one of the most clutch at-bats ever. She started that 0-2.

Florida's bats came alive in OKC last year before running into OU.

UF has a good of a chance as any with their pitching.
