He’s a first rounder who played behind an OK SEC running back?

At what point did he look like a first rounder?

Hill will be a 3rd rounder. He played behind one of the leading rusher's in the SEC last year who does all the little things like pass-blocking and such.

I dont know of any position that LSU will be better than State in 2018 except maybe CB. LSU is gonna get their shite pushed in again as State wins their 3rd in 5 years vs LSU.

I would Bet our RBs are better, but I cant Really be sure I mean I know We don’t have a Guice but y’all acting like Aeros Williams is some amazing back. He averaged under 5 a carry last ye

Yeah yeah.. Did you hear yourself? "we don't have a Guice" and he did nothing important vs MSU... So you think a lesser RB would magically win the game against a #10 defense that improved it's depth?

As to Aeries, He is not their only back and run threat.

Fitz is averaging 6.5 per carry during his time as a starter.

Right.

In the spread, the RB has a huge responsibility in blocking. Most RBs under Mullen do not start in their first year. They barely see the field.

You didn't watch last year's game. Quit posting about it please

Not worried about our running game. Helaire looks explosive. Rushing attack and defense will be stout this year, as per usual.

And none of them have been a first rounder either.

Maybe... Miss St RBs aren’t that good.

You got a guy who can run for 6+ yards a carry and run like a dominant back you play him. You find a way to play him more than 78 snaps in a season.

I'd start with both of LSU's lines being better, and our LB core is the best in the West outside of Bama's bench of 5*'s. None are as good as White though. Our WR's are top notch and the best they've been since we had Landry and OBJ.

Idk one unit outside QB that state has an edge in. Yeah last year's was one-sided, but we finished stronger with better overall wins.

Guice had 76 yards against MS ST.

Aeris had 150 against LSU.

What the frick is this conversation?

Don’t give me this “your player couldn’t do anything last year” shite

If that was the case We would have won last year. Miss st for some reason only believes in trends when they’ve won a game. Beat them 10+ times in a row and the past doesn’t matter but if they win one year how are you ever going to do anything vs their Elite Defense.

Your defense sucked before Grantham got there. Gimpy Leonard Fournette dominated your arse.
If we play y’all with more than 3 DL you’re not scoring and your RBs are going in the 3rd round at best as always.

Not sure the point is relevant.

Aeris had 150 on you and you gave up a total of 285 rushing yards to them. Seems pretty good to me.

Not when he isn't a solid blocker. But he isn't really your concern. IT's Aeris and Fitz. They put up 175 against US.. Don't act like this team is some chump team.

I simply asked a logical question. When a team beats you that bad, and return everything on both sides PLUS adds juco depth(that they redshirted) AND you are replacing 12 starters... 6 on D/6 on Offense with a need for a QB and goto WR..... Where are you making up the ground to beat them?

Shoop did well at Vandy with what he had. In his first year at Penn St, the moved them to #2 in defense.

Id don't see it. Honestly, I'm worried about them beating us.

Aeris is one of those guys that plays with a lot of heart and that makes him a player. He doesn't have the wheels of Gibson, or the wheels or explosivness of Kylin. He's probably the 3rd most physically talented in the lineup.

Wah wah wah. Y'all Mississippi State, 20 of 23, we will beat your arse. Hahahaha. State is just better than you. That's a fact Jack. You don't have to like it, you don't have to agree with it but you will bend over and take it.

and I've already shown in this thread that you would be wrong. State had one of the better OL's in the country last year and returns 8 of its top 9 guys.

We are the only team in SEC history to return 2 1st team SEC DL players and our entire 2 deep returns plus adding a juco AA who had to redshirt because of transcript issues.

LSU will not be as good as we will upfront.
We will be better at RB
We are much better at QB
Our LB's are good
Our Safeties are really good and one led the SEC in picks last year

State beats LSU by 10 plus in BR this Fall especially after catching LSU coming off back to back games vs Florida and Georgia while State gets the week off

I can remember posting on the Friday before the game. It was Arden Key this and that. I'm sure Sweat couldn't start for y'all either. One of you guys also said Simmons would just be another D lineman at LSU. That's like saying Fletcher Cox couldn't have started on the team with the honey badger. I expect a tough game next year that could go either way. Dak, another player who couldn't have started for LSU, isn't leading us out onto Tiger Stadium but I think Fitz will do pretty good unless White kills him.

If that is the metaphor you are going with, our blind squirrel found about 37 nuts in a three hour period last year. That's one talented squirrel.

It must suck being a State fan. Every time I google MSU to find statistics Michigan State pops up. Even Google knows you're inferior.
