If we've got any undecided voters on this board I'd like you give Brian Kemp a look. Without going into major detail, he recently answered a request of mine that could've been easily dismissed. Took the time out of a hectic schedule & made sure it was satisfactory. I don't usually give two shits about politics but this time I felt the need to inject myself due to the circumstances. If you can cast a ballot, give the guy a look. He's also a DGD.

What was your question and what was his answer?

Is he the guy who blew something up at the beginning of that campaign ad ?

I'd vote for that guy in a second if I lived in GA.

If his commercials featured real people like you saying what you just did, and less of him with a shotgun trying to round up illegals in his truck, he might fare better with public opinion.

None of these candidates are rocking my world. Which one wants to get rid of the income tax? Hill?

That's not what gets you elected in this state. The ads are clearly tongue & cheek & designed to appeal to people that aren't metro dwellers. He's got half the war chest of Cagle but has garnered 75% of outside media. It was purposely orchestrated & 100% successful. He gets shite done & isn't a threat to the states prosperity.

It's the primary, only republicans can vote in it. The opinion of independents or democrats is irrelevant in this election. All of the republicans are trying to out-republican each other. Kemp is doing the best job of this.

Being we're in a red state, this won't hurt him too bad in the general election.

Kemp has also visited all 159 Georgia counties & "listened" instead of talked. His commitment to rural Georgians is without question.

Michael Williams is trying to out-Kemp Kemp at his own game now though with the "Deportation Bus" he's riding around in.

"Danger: Murderers, Rapists, Kidnappers, Child Molestors and other Criminals on Board"

"Stay Back 1,000 Feet"

I'll vote for whichever one has the best shot at beating Cagle. So, probably Kemp.

That Williams guy ... is he that stupid or is his only shot to rally the uninteligensia.

Same for me. Many of the folks in and around my rural county who are out front supporting Cagle turn me off, as well as some of the stuff I hear about him from the gold dome.

I’m probably going with Kemp.

ETA: Kemp needs to fire whoever advised him on the first campaign video. I assume it was his first. The “this man wants to date my daughter.” He came across too much like a rube IMO. Needs to come across more dignified.

He's not stupid or rallying the unitelligent. It's just political theatre like RB said and like deeprig said, it's a republican primary. But, it should also be pointed out that republican primaries are a totally different animal now....... because the corrupt republican party is split and fractured, Praise God, thanks to the ongoing Trump revolution against the hated establishment.

So, now, instead of flipping a coin and picking your favorite establishment crony haircut in the republican primary like how it used to be, now the people actually have somewhat of a choice. It's populist conservatives vs establishment RINO swampers now. Good vs evil. Different parties within a party.

So, you've got populist candidates like Kemp and Williams on one side and establishment grease-ball career politicians like Casey Cagle on the other. And the populists know that issues like the 2nd amendment and illegal immigration are popular with the base and that these issues are thorny compromised weak spots for the sniveling Cagles of the world. And so they hammer the shite out of the swampers on it.

It's beautiful.

So, are you telling me intelligent people will see that bus and then vote for him due to it?

Doesn't fit as neatly on either side probably.

Hills a phony and a snake in the grass though, imo.
