we all know you are a far left proggy so what are you getting at here? The less you like a candidate, the more I do because it means he's probably better for the state

So tell me how a far right extremist is good for a state that is turning purple?

OK, so you're the only human on the planet impervious to advertising methods. Not to mention shockingly unvain. I mean almost unvain to a fault. So unvain, it's eerie sometimes.

But, we're talking about the other 6,999,999,999 people on earth here. Not you.

You asked me if intelligent people would see the bus commercial and automatically vote for him. And I tried to explain that that's not how advertising works. That that's not even the purpose of the ad. That advertising is for branding. For creating opinions. And that it's a very powerful technique to which no single person is impervious (except you, of course)

There are millions of intelligent people that have Advil in their cubbards. And there are millions of smart people with Tylenol. And there are lots of intelligent people that will know Williams name subconsciously or consciously from the bus stunt and have an opinion about him. Thus helping him build a brand. Just like how the very benign and super common example I provided about how Advil works which you used to brag about getting your doctor to get you prescriptions.

Yep. It's all about raising brand awareness in a crowded field to win a primary election with traditionally low voter turn out.

Enforcement of existing immigration law is extremist?

Protection of the Bill of Rights is extremist?

Who’s the extremist here?

Have you noticed something else too?

That the people on here getting vapors over commercials...the one's who think these commercials are to get stupid people to vote based on just a commercial....these people themselves don't know a single thing about either of these two candidates other than what they saw in the commercial!!

It's like watching people punch themselves in the nuts.

Probably true. Candidates are rarely, if ever, entirely the person they display in their commercials. How could they be? You can't summarize an entire political career in a 30 second tv spot.

Also, cut it out Jeff, I'm agreeing with you too much.

This is so weird. People can't stop talking about Michael Williams and now they're putting pictures of his bus up online.

I bet he never thought this kind of stuff would happen when he was just making that one commercial to get stupids to auto-vote.

Certainly not one for the company that made the bus.

I understand why it’s done. It’s just that he could show armed ICE agents throwing ‘Mexican’ families into the bus at gun point and it would rally a certain base and make his name memorable. At what point does using this stuff come back to bite the party in a state that is becoming less and less a cake walk for Republicans?

A valid question, and the answer is sooner rather than later. Fear tactics and iron-fisted policies may win you some battles, but they ultimately lose the long-term war.

I smell sabotage. I bet a Democrat probably cashed a welfare check and bought a bag of sugar with it to dump in the bus fuel tank..

You sound like Casey Cagle now.

Gross.

Probably not. But that doesn't make them extremists. I'm sure all of them support better medicinal access to it than what Georgia has now.

I can't stand Cagle. But I know political trends, and I stand by my statement. The party that chooses to employ fear tactics ends up losing bigly in the long run. Plus, Cagle is one of those guys that leans toward the iron-fisted side. Did you see his statement on Delta after they cancelled their NRA member discount?

Sorry dude. But there’s more to it than that.

Cagle and Deal are the crony shitbags that helped ram the Delta tax break deal. Williams was the one leading the fight against it, and when Delta fricked up and pissed off the NRA it gave Williams the support for his cause.

The statement issued by Cagle on it was him doing damage control to save the the whole crooked Delta deal. Not defiance against them. And what he did issue was typical doublespeak greaseball bullshite playing both sides.

Wake up and get on the bus jack.

There's even more to it than that. Cagle is just the public face for those deals. Look into the various economic development organizations throughout the state and how they compete for funding and sponsorships.
