How the frick do u lose to Alabama in baseball? Even last night, I think Bama had a 4 or 5 run lead late and pissed it away. 40 years ago losing to Bama was expected. Losing to the worst Bama team, arguably, in history is some serious shite.
I think jax state swept us this year.

LSU is a middle of the pack team in the SEC this year. Alabama has beaten UGA once and Kentucky 2x. It's baseball, shite happens. And shite happens even more when you're a not a great team like LSU this year. And if we're being honest, outside the Auburn series, Alabama has played most of their games "close" in the SEC. They have 8 1 run SEC losses. And no they didn't get swept by Jacksonville St, they went 1-1 against them in midweek games. You're probably thinking of last year when they were swept by Oral Roberts. They were actually 15-3 before league play started.

LSU eliminated Bama from the SEC tournament (which is played in Alabama), so it might have been hard for them to get up for Saturday's game with no more Bama hopes to crush. To be honest though, LSU is fortunate not to be 0-2 in this series. Very inconsistent team.
Bama and LSU have really only ever played one game that mattered in baseball though and LSU whipped that arse and took home the natty.
