1:20 mark

It was Petrino or Kiffin after Nutt but of course some media ran with the news as the most recent search.

Good to see our media knows less than the fans they are reporting to.

I would have loved Kiffen, but I'm plenty happy with Morris.

Our fans would be happy with Mr Hankey after Bert.

We're retarded.

He ordered the lobster bisque at Powerhouse while wearing a red tie.

Morris is a perfect fit for us. I think LK is a good coach but Morris is a better fit.

Right, and I don't even think he's talking about last season because he said at 'one time'. I'm betting it was post-JLS.

It was 2008. He was about to be hired before Petrino showed up as available.

Man, Long sure wasn't too concerned about character issues at this point in his tenure

Feral is in hibernation. He'll awake from his slumber in a few months for football season. Maybe sooner if we win a natty in women's golf.

As for Lane Kiffen in 2008... I don't think he was ready to be a head coach then. He wasn't in the NFL. He didn't prove to be in college either.

Now? Yes. I think he's ready. I'd have been happy with the Lane Train here. I'm happy with Chad Morris. We had, by all accounts, three good options. We picked the one to help reestablish recruiting ties with Texas and that's not a bad choice at all.

I'm glad that didn't happen because he wasn't as good of a coach then, we would've missed out on the Petrino years without something equally as good replacing them, and he would've for sure left us for USC too which fricked Tennessee really bad.

After we fired Nutt, I remember the national media was saying we wouldn't be able to hire a better coach, and yet we had a choice between Petrino and Kiffin, who were both coaching in the NFL at the time.
