Just want to say that they have videos of white students being pushed as well, it's not a real story at all but hopefully we don't get Mizzou'd.

Those graduation ceremonies are already unbearably brutal to just sit and do jackshit nothing. I can't imagine every person wanting ten seconds to dance.

I don't feel like it's a victory because things like this, whether real or fake, contribute to the same kind of ping-ponging polarization game that happened in the Weimar Republic.
The folks on the left pull some dumb shite (manufacturing racism) and that shakes some of the people who were clinging to the right side of the center loose and they drift toward the far-right. Then the far-right does something in response and it has a similar affect to those clinging to the centre-left. The left then uses the right's response as justification for something else and the cycle continues, just ping ponging back and forth and shaking more people loose from the centre until it can no longer hold up the status quo. It's happening right now every day especially with the younger generations. Our Grandfathers fought and defeated Fascism and our Fathers fought and largely defeated the Communists yet somehow 20 year olds are running around LARPing as the two, it's fricking shameful.
I don't think it will go the same direction as the Weimar republic but I don't see things like this as good.

It's good in the sense that racism is so petty now that they have to interpret things like "oh well the white woman got a second longer before being pushed" instead of where we are.
The polarization of left-right thinking, though, is definitely dangerous. I personally consider myself liberal for the most part, but because of calls of fake racism/bigotry, I voted conservative. The problem is that the news has already run with this, and they almost never correct themselves. At some point, there has to be some sort of journalistic integrity but in this case, Trump was right regarding "fake news". The twitter thread where this blew up on, all you have to do is scroll through for a few moments and you can find a video that shows Whites, Hispanics, Asians and Blacks being pushed off the stage.
We'll never see that footage, though, unless we go looking for it.

One of the girls said that dancing on stage was a "cultural tradition in historically black fraternities and sororities". Sounds like Sharkeisha should've gone to Wakanda A&M instead.

What bothers me is that they told them all specifically not to waste time on stage, and I kind of feel like it was set up in a way. The kid who gave the footage to all of the news agencies and started saying Florida was racist went on directly before the two that got manhandled.
He has a picture of himself proudly seated during the National Anthem and his Twitter account is pure hatred toward Florida (in spite of getting his diploma).
Easily one of the most punchable faces of mankind.
